I went through on Sunday afternoon when it was dark, raining and generally miserable, only saw a few girls out there. Counted 18 girls out between 145th and 85th around 8 pm. Most were clustered in small groups, very few singles. Biggest groups were at 137th and near the Wells Fargo bank, with smaller clusters at 127th, KK and in front of the motels. Most singles standing on the 100 blocks south of 105th, one was a tiny spinner BSW with a great body at 103rd, however when I pulled up next to her she looked very young. I know that looks aren't a reliable judge of age, but I swear she was 14. So I think what is eventually going to happen is that the idea of decriminalizing sex work will be floated again in Seattle. It didn't work this past election cycle in November because people are sick of crime, sick of homelessness, sick of protests, sick of the pandemic. Decriminalization was just the wrong topic for the time. But, if decriminalization is ever brought-up in the future, they also need to talk about where girls can walk and work. They can't keep it on Aurora, too many residents and businesses. There will have to be some sort of zone. That's my opinion right now.
