Unfortunately, some factors got to be in your favor to score: looks, manners, personality, humor, and the respect you give and get. Money is the object but how you spend it is as important as how much, as they say. It's all a game and BS in the KBs; need to have that perspective in order to survive, IMO. Good luck, gentlemen.

Parking lot action is great. The girl can get loud and not be paranoid about people looking cause it's dark. The worst bar parking lot is Golden Tree cause of the liquor store across the way plus all those cheap losers hanging outside the store asking to bum a cigarette.

Are there any KBG you guys can recommend? Because tbh I feel like I am like most. I would only go to a Korean place looking for action lmao. I've been to a few but no one ever comes up to me except the bartenders so I just sit around for a bit than leave. Quite the opposite at vietnamese places. If you wanna keep it to an PM all good lmk! any help is appreciated.

Almost no more action in the KBs unless you arrange parking lot, champagne room, booth, take out, etc., kine options. The LVBs think they getting action but most just willing to spend money for the attention the BS KBs give them, as well as hoping to score one day, any day. Most guys go KB because (1) the drinks stay cheap and get food; (2) the regulars form one "Cheers" group bond; (3) some KBGs good for look at; (4) no more lives outside the KB and online forums; (5) alcoholic; (6) in search of something.

KB joints probably slow due for lack of the aforementioned. All IMO so please list your other reasons without argument, challenges, disdain. Mahalo.

Any recent sightings of the young B2 V locals? Haven't seen them, maybe wrong days (weeknights) or too early (happy hour)? Any info would be appreciated.

Went to Vegas and I guess it's closed on Sundays now and Fri and Sat it's dead now after the switch. Mama Sandra and a lot of the girls all went to Camelot so don't know where those local looking ones are now days. So yea, Vegas is empty and when I walked by Camelot, it looked busy. Maybe the, congrats on the new bar early rush and it will die down soon but who knows.

Anyone with any new reports? Checked out Vegas recently and think I saw these young ones that were mentioned before. One had a dark tan and could pass as Filipino looking if I didn't know any better. Nice strong looking legs but was busy the whole time.

Also checked out Business. Very hard to get any girls attention in this place I think unless you are already a established customer or korean. If you're a newbie to the bar, they don't know you, or don't look asian, can't really get the girls attention to come and sit and buy them a drink possibly which isn't always a bad thing. Anyone out there have any comments on this or advice?

There was one girl with light brown, pretty much blonde hair that looked good. Still think the bartender Emily is the best looking girl in there but can't get her attention when she is working the floor and not behind the bar. She's either busy in a booth or spacing out playing on her phone, guess waiting for a familiar face.

What does this Sandra Mama look like, too bad Amber didn't take over. But Bar are so slow now days, Paltinum closes at 7 pm since it's so slow the bar is very small too. Ws thinking of going to the old Islander heard there maybe some old girls from Waterfall.

It wouldn't help to say she's Korean. But she is like 40's and kinda younger for a mama. She also speaks English with no accent.

Looks like she is trying to pump life back into Camelot with more / new girls.

Not one to spread rumors but was I informed that Sandra mama from Vegas is taking over at Camelot bringing a few of her loyal ladies with her. Nicky mama from Spotlite purchased the lease at Platinum and will renovate / reopen in Feb. Mama from Wave will be joining forces at Vegas. Keiko mama returns to Honu in May. The beat goes on, at least for now.

Demise of the KB industry is multifaceted. You're correct regarding the loss of clientele as it appears the younger generations have limited affinity / interest for the KB scene. Current KB customer base is aging, not as active and fading away (rip). The economy is worse for many in addition to inflation. Then there's the increased risk for and penalties from DUI enforcement. The quality and availability of staffing / KBGs has significantly declined over the years. It will be interesting to see what will take its place. I'm sure others share your interest in the decline of the KB industry. I'd give it another declining 5 years or so. Stay Safe this weekend Gentlemen.

KBs have been in decline for some time. When Walmart went in we lost several bars and the decline began. Covid was the dagger to the heart of an already declining industry. As the girls moved up economically they got out of the business so what was left were aging Korean gilfs. Viet bars made a minor revival but again covid banged on them. Thai same. Rail is going to kill off some Kalihi bars so your 5 year schedule 70 about right. Ah the good old days, bars and AMPs everywhere with hot young women. Gone but not forgotten.

I haven't been in Green Tee recently, but I was in another KB over the weekend and I heard one of the bar girls mention that GT was changing name. She didn't know what the new name was going to be, or any other details.

I have to agree that the older guys like me really enjoyed the "Good old days". There were more than 100 bars on Oahu in the mid to late 70's. Night clubs open till 4 am, KB, Viet, Japanese bars, great free pupu's, cheap food and drink. Mama used to serve us free food, sashimi etc. Bars had lots of young good looking girls. Since legal drink age went up and lots of DUI check points and aged out customers and woman bars are a dying business, it's like the cycle of live. Business environments changeover time I will enjoy it as much as I can. Woman have passed away, quit, moved away and or retired.
