Takes skill to be one KB owner / mama. Not one easy job juggling KBGs, customers, vendors, staff, sponsor (s), thugs, and the like; the KB will go down more quickly than getting stuck on the offshore reef (and more bussup). The sinking of the ship all begins when the mama starts to think only about making money for her / themselves. So far, in my short but somewhat intense KB career (spanning from 1970-present), Sandy was the best nicest overall and Ann/Patty the best overall greedy-fake-sleaze mamas. IMO, of course.

Agreed. I don't know who Michelle's sponsor is but he is throwing money down the crapper. She has zero ability to recruit girls and is a worse mama. She will drive GT straight into the ground imo. At Wave she had maybe 3 girls who were consistent workers. And they weren't the gt caliber types so I doubt gt will be even half as successful as it was under the former trio of mamas.

FP You described it perfectly. When gt was close to the changeover she should have been schmoozing the girls and buying them drinks so that they would stay and help her. She has no bar mama skills. What a shame.

Stopped by a few days ago. Place looked to be the same size. I did notice they took out the pool table and added a few more booths.

Dropped in for a few. Pool table gone and an office in the back. Slight improvement in the men's room but still not much larger than a phone booth. Bar back looked familiar / recycled but not sure from where. Good number of decent looking recycled ex GT and Spotlite kbgs. Nky mama looked curvaceous as heck. Bar was full as well as a few of the booths. Karaoke was taking over. Not bad for non-weekend night. Stay Safe.

He looked quite dapper all dressed in black that night. I was quite surprised to see him actually walk across the parking lot to visit K mama at 5-0. I figured he'd be all buss up by that time early morning. Hope you had a nice Bday Andy.

It may just be a rumor but I heard from 2 sources that 5-0 may be changing management in the short time. Stay safe this week.

Checked out green tea and it was very slow. Also the grand opening is postponed to sometime in April. Not enough women working. Funny how it went from one of the busiest bar to one of the slowest. Sandy mama will be missed. Hope she enjoys her retirement.

Got there and the food was gone. Fuck. Some familiar faces and a couple new ones. Not as packed as I thought it would be on opening night. I did reach there around 10:30. Noticed Golden Tree closed and 1010 open but no cars outside while heading to Green Tee. Official grand opening is the 18th and 19th.

Mmmm so I guess someone gave me the wrong info. They said they added another space next door. I drove by last night and it was packed, no parking. I guess Kalihi is the only water holes. Be careful guys heard last week a coward punched out a girl at Spot Lite knocked her to the ground and drove off. Heard he was drinking with a friend named MR. "D" that works at Lexus Hawaii. He was local about 5' 6 to 5'8" salt and pepper hair and has a facial hair. Mr. "D" and this coward drink regularly in Kalihi. Heard the girl required medial attention and Police report was made so its a Felony Assault - 2 which means up to 10 yrs in prison, fine. Hope his is caught and he can drink all he wants behind bars. What a coward to hit a woman he doesn't even know and his friend never checked in the injured person so he can be charged too. More than like a detective will pay him a visit at Lexus, that will not be good for him. The girl now there faces and there was video recordings so it maybe a matter of time. When bars get crowded and the alcohol is flowing like the old days there will be more and more fights. Be careful guys.

LOL. I walked in, scanned the bar and booths, turned around and walked out as I held my breath. Ended up hitting the other 3 places across the parking lot. Lilac & 5-0 were very slow. Honu was mildly busy with the usual staff in place. Jessica mama, Jessie & Yuki at the bar, Cindy and a few others on the floor. Passed on Vegas & Eclipse. Parking lots at Golden Tree, 1010 were empty so didn't bother. Bday party at 904 tonight and Green Tee reopening, both superspreader events LOL. Stay safe this weekend gentlemen.
