The huge one that used to be Crystal Palace? The last time it was open it appeared to be a total failure, with zero customers and zero hostesses. Even zero music playing; you have to look like you've got something going on.

Wasn't that last year? It is strange with all the bar closures, no one has tried to take that place over. Granted, it is big, but there aren't many spaces left in town.

Be careful when walking around Ashleys, especially on the Wal-Mart side of the street. The critters sometimes hide in the ginger bushes near the corner of Makaloa.

There is probably more incident like that we don't know or unreported. Sorry to hear the cowards pick on someone can't fight back. Heard some story guys walk into the bar snatch change money from the bar counter and pick up unattended handbag before. But using physical force is something we need to be aware of. Anyway the Makaloa / Sheridan area is turning into ghetto at night. Walking out of Ashley one night. Saw a heavy set woman peeping into my car which was parked across from the bar. As soon as I approached her. She walked away fast.

Thanks for the info, Yobs. That sucks. She was always really nice to me even though she didn't really need to be (I didn't buy her that many drinks or anything). Tagging on to some recent conversation, agreed that things just aren't the same anymore, and that's not for the better.

I've been out of the KB scene for a bit, but used to enjoy Amanda from EG. Think she used to work behind the bar on Fridays, maybe floor on Saturday?? Anyone know where she went?

I heard that, too. However, it would be a no go if they no longer have the hostess license.

Thru the KBG wireless the date is March 15th. But then again does she have the money?

I spit up my latte this morning when I read that. In the past, she borrowed money from the bar girls to fund her restaurant at Shirokiya. Not sure if they got paid back in full.
