After reading the report below by Mr. Generous (if I read that correctly, our friend dropped $300 for an HJ that didn't even get him off) and seeing the truly butt ugly women who advertise on CL and ask $$$ (then they get reviews that say they were clock watchers and nasty to boot) and then reading other reports on the underground parties getting busted and reading and knowing from personal observation that there is not one decent reliable stroll left open in this city.......... it has gotten really bad. Can't even find a porn shop with a private booth and a glass partition to get myself off in any more.

Now just 90 minutes south of here is the City of Brotherly Love with one of the most active boards on WSG. At least there is an active stroll there but you have to deal with druggies, an unsafe neighborhood and its crawling with LE most nights.

How many of us have driven in circles for hours looking around where there used to be a stroll and all we get is to go home horny. Or worse, we get desperate and let some street filth into the car, drop a bundle, then go home disgusted.

Why do we have to go through this? Why does it have to be illegal and therefore we are forced to deal with the dregs of society to get an expensive, unsafe, stolen moment of pleasure?

The simple answer is that our society deems paid sex immoral and so its made to be illegal and that leaves us where we are.

Six hours north of here is monger heaven. Montreal. Where paid sex is legal if you make arrangements via classified newspaper ads and over the phone although street solicitation is still illegal.

The result is that you can easily find clean, friendly, eager, gorgeous, young or exotic ladies who will come to your hotel room and charge what they say they'll charge, getting ripped off is very rare, having a crack head show up is never going to happen and if she watches a clock, its to make sure you get your FULL hour.

As for the $300 our friend dropped, he'd get the finest of the finest for a full hour for that price. More typical is an hour for $150 US (no tipping expected and none will be requested) and that gets you an hour you will not likely forget for years.

And if you LIKE the idea of picking up on the street, there's plenty of that and far lovelier than we have gotten used to. It may be illegal but the street scene is still abundant and easy.

Think about it: Montreal is 6 hours from here but light years away in terms of its enlightened attitude toward sexuality.

Sorry for the rant.... its just my year end thoughts.

Well, flush with year-end bonus cash and a certain amount of holiday time on my hands, I decided to check out "Sensual Reiki" in Manhattan, which is also known as "Body and Spirit NYC."

Sorry to say, it's a rip-off.

Long story short, the agency operates three different locations and charges $170.

But the girl wants a nice "tip" -- another $130 in my case -- for the "local," as we used to call it in the 1980s.

For that price, I should have left a happy man. Instead, I got a mediocre massage -- sensuous enough, but with no attention to my feet or hands, for instance -- and a particularly rough tug-job. After a few attempts at instruction, I gave up -- I didn't even get off.

I feel like dropping a dime on the place to get it shut down. Does anyone have a number for 5-0 "vice"?

Curiously, the door to the massage "spa" on Exchange Place -- three rooms, each with a massage table -- was open when I got there (a sign on the door says to come in if you have an appointment). I was on time, but the girl was late -- the office doesn't have a permanent staff, a smart move, I suppose.

She was cute enough -- a little caramel goddess, with slicked-back hair and big hoop earrings. She did get naked for the extra $130, and I could have groped her more, if that's what I had wanted. Funny you mention 14th st. There have always been some tvs a block or so off w. side highway late at night. Thats not my thing, but last month I noticed 2 different working girls cruising in cars around there in the same style as w. 40s. Perhaps they are picking up on the tvs customers.

"A Midtown security guard was held for hours yesterday after a prostitute apparently falsely accused him of rape — police later finding out that she made up the story after he'd refused to pay for her services.

The prostitute had flagged down a patrol car, telling cops the 23-year- old Brooklyn man had beaten and raped her at gunpoint while she was walking to work.

Police, however, discovered the pair had haggled over the price of sex after doing it in an outdoor alcove on West 31st Street at about 6 a.m.

The man was charged with assault and rape and spent the morning in a holding cell at the Midtown South station house before cops unraveled the woman's story.

The woman admitted to lying about the attack when she was caught trying to escape the hospital room where she was being examined, police said.

It's expected all charges will be dropped against the man.

The woman, meanwhile, faces charges for filing a false police report."
