My belief, is that it has a price, that price gets me what I want, when I want it, without any hassles.

Agree that spending more can have benefits, but one does not have to spend more to get good service. Being respectful is the way to go. However money does not equal respect.

Spending more money is not necessarily a demonstration of respect. For example, it can be a demonstration of insecurity or lack of respect for self.

Just as a sanity check. If someone makes $100 k a year, that is slightly less than $50/ hr. But taxes, health insurance, and other fees will knock that down. At that salary, it will take somewhere around 20 hours of work to afford one visit with a provider at $500. I know we are not thinking with our main heads when texting providers. Yet are they worth a half week's time? Maybe? Of course, the average salary in PDX is far less than 100 k. And if you are paid well, say 200 k+ then maybe it is only 10 hours or less of your work time. I know it is all relative.

So, I can't believe you made a $100 k comparison. At a "job", you don't get a BBBJCIM, msg, greek, bbfscip, and the list goes on. You can try to get those things at a "job", but likely will get fired for sexual harassment. These women are providing what their client crave but find in short supply if at all, in a meaningful way.
