They are truly appreciated. Everything seems to be going well post cardiac arrest. Now the rehabilitation and complete overhaul of my diet. Plus exercise. Thinking I should have just run into the light.

Should be back in mid February.

Due to a personal, health related issue, I will be taking a leave of absence from our hobby. At least 8 weeks, possibly up to 12 weeks. Apparently being overweight, being old, eating lots of pasta and traveling extensively for work are not good for your heart. Mine showed me that the hard way.

Sounds like we have a similar health interest. One thing they will tell you in heart rehab is that it is very important to get your heart rate up for at least 30 minutes everyday.

After doing plenty of research, there is one activity that always came up on how to get your heart rate up. Although walking a treadmill, or stair steppers, or jogging are all good things. They weren't the one thing that came up all the time.

So, get yourself fixed and then make a plan to give that heart a workout and get that heart rate up everyday. I am sure that therapist Nat can help with that!

Sorry to hear about your health problems that's got to suck. As you recuperate it'll give you more time to read the boards. That might even help you with withdrawal symptoms from the hobby, LOL.

It does have a bright side though, leaves the rest of us poor saps more options.

Sorry to hear that friend. Leave of absense or not this does not relieve you of the obligation to meet up with me when you are down this way. We will just alter the planned establishment to one that won't get you heart racing too much! On the other hand maybe it would be a good idea. Just looking would only get the ticker going slightly.
