Friday it was brought to my attention that a client was blackmailed by someone that created a fb account and they used 1 of my pics from my ad which he knew better and contacted me right away! Anyone has questions or concerns please feel free to contact me for the truth!

A few weeks back ImThtFckGuy brought up the subject of a provider outing a fellow hobbiest on her social media websites, and if any of us would see a provider who did that. The responses were mixed. Since then, I have done a lot of research on local providers and have uncovered some increadibly interesting information. Senior members can PM me for details if interested.

My new question is this:. In our information age world today, with Facebook, Twitter, Switter, Instagram, etc. , What recourse does a hobbiest have if they are unjustly accused by a provider?

Do providers simply take the word of one provider that a hobbiest is a bad guy? Is there a place that the hobbiest can go to provide their side of the issue?

I'm just curious, because after my research, I'm not sure the hobbiest that was called out on the providers Twitter and Facebook accounts is guilty of the accusations.

What this provider in question has done. She posted someone's personal information on her Twitter account that she uses to advertise. No proof, no documentation. Just put his personal information and his professional web site page out there for everyone to see. I don't care if she is the best provider in the history, I will never see her. She can't be trusted. I have seen the postings myself. Yes, I have followed her on Twitter. However that stops now. I'm afraid that she will link me to the hobby and that I have seen her. Too risky.

Ditto. I agree with DNF I would Never see someone who has done that regardless of the reason. Its just not worth the drama.

With both DaveRogers and Nclover. I don't know who the provider is that you are worried about, and I honestly don't want to know. I do my own research and screening on every provider I see and before every appointment, even in I have seen them before. You can never be too careful in this hobby.

As for why I disagree with the other two, it is because if a provider was willing to out a monger once, odds are she would do it again. I don't care if the provider had a massive issue with the monger or not. She was trusted with personal information during screening and exposed it. In my book, she can never be trusted again. End of discussion.

Did everyone miss where the OP said a provider was releasing personal information on social media? WTF? Do we know who he's referring to or was it a hypothetical statement? Maybe it's your info, maybe it's mine that doesn't concern anyone? As Donger said anyone who releases any personal information should never be trusted again.

The last couple years it's seems acceptable for providers to ask for photos. I can't imagine why we would do such a thing but a lot will and not think twice about it.

Think a minute we're sending personal info to a stranger could that be any more stupid? Are we not aware that this is an illegal enterprise?

Most of us have never had such an issue with a provider but it only takes one!

She is a well known provider in the area. She outed a fellow monger on her social media account. An account that she uses to advertise her services. As a new member to this hobby, how could I ever trust her? I will say that it occurred several months ago, but it is there in her media feed. Why would anyone ever go see that provider again?

I don't know which provider in particular your talking about, nor do I really care. I've seen at least three providers in this area that have done this. If you saw the social media post, then you probably read what they done to bring this upon them.

Yes you have described the very mistake that I wish I could change knowing what I know now and that's why I told you no. At this point of no return I'm just rolling with the flow. Of course I could just get me a new burn phone and change my name but hey I'm Dave rogers!

Although you have already made your decision to risk it all being out here in the first place the risks being how do you explain being robbed and beat up or walking into a sting catching a std and as you said exposure by social media. If you feel you have to see this woman to help feel complete in life then stay utr after you see her don't chance a review on her of your experience due to she might not agree with what you wrote and piss her off to retaliate and if you liked the way she cooked your eggs go back and repeat.

I hope this is the right place to post this. I have a question. I filly understand the need for screening and I am more than willing to provide the necessary information to a provider that I believe is trustworthy.

My question is, if a provider has a great reputation, but her " Social Media" sites (Facebook, switter, Twitter, tumbler, etc.) show her exposing personal information for mongers she has had issues with, would you still give out your verification information?

There is a local provider who has done this. I'm just looking for advice.

I nearly choked on my sprite when DR actually reviewed me and thank God is was tasteful. Thanks for that one. Now we all know DR can become an author for some romance novels jam packed full of porno scenes that can make anyone's stomach turn (LMAO) but he actually brings life back into these threads. Especially since south bend only has about 2 providers for every hobbyists sausage in a 60+ mile radious. Not much to talk about when the same couple of ladies are taking on all the men.

Show some hubris woman. There is no denying that you are great at what you do. Been there, done that. However, there are still great providers in the area and honestly, we don't miss you that much. The great providers in the area went underground when the "fit hit the shan" in March. Those of us who we're fortunate to know them, had their contact information and have kept in contact. Enough said.

You are welcome to tour here whenever you want, but stop bashing the great providers that are still here. It makes you look self serving and petty.
