There are two things I'll comment on.

First, yeah, it takes no time to give answers, but one has to think how the other guy got those answers? So what the "big deal is" is that he probably invested his time and experience in doing the research. Or he spent his time and MONEY having an encounter. Someone spent time, money and effort to get those answers, like a paralegal, why should his efforts be free?.

Problem is that history around here shows that too many dudes show up with their hand out and take, take, take. They go see the girls but never provide reports back. How is that fair? Also there is a HUGE contingent of lurk only types as well. (would be interested to see the number of registered users in DE versus regular posters) Read the threads and one will see that it is a small number of guys doing all of the work. So how is it fair that the others getting off 'scot free'? The way this works is that EVERYONE reading here contributes a little. But I suspect we'll continue to see numerous posters with no reports, demanding free information or info that can be found by a bit of research.

Second, going and doing the research is a matter of safety and security. This is a free country and one is always free to choose to ignore basic safety steps! The record shows HUNDREDS of guys ignored that in the X case. We see posts frequently from guys who got ripped-off when posts indicated the girls were bad news or the guys rushed in and were unaware of the basic 'rules' of the hobby.

But hey, I don't see many newbies asking 'how to' questions. Why is that? Hubris? It looks easy? Ignorance? Afraid to look un-knowledgeable in public? This place is the best thing, next to a bunch of YouTube videos, on 'how to,' it is shocking how few use the resource.

If one is afraid they are going to do research wrong, then they clearly have much to learn! Now I get no one wants to hear that something as easy as scooping a girl or responding to an online advert is complex or requires a bit of learning. But again, each person is responsible for their own safety! You can't farm that out to posters on a MB! You need Spidey Senses, techniques, knowledge and gile in your quiver when sh! T happens. No time to stop, post on a thread and get a reply.

Part of doing research, like hobbying, is learning how to. Instead of insisting others do or think for them, each dude needs to learn "how to" for himself! Mistakes will be made in the hobby, it is each guy's choice of the severity of those mistakes by the knowledge they obtain. You can learn "experientially" on the streets, hotels, etc or "book learn" here. Oh the later will make you a bit of a nerd, but the former could cause financial loss, arrest or physical harm. Your choice: learn to do "research" or blindly stumble along.

So what are the arguments against learning to do research on one's own?

So while we are all here for the same purpose, please do not forget to 'do your part' and post reports or ask technique questions.

We all appreciate wisdom. But your comments on every damn post that is put up. Really shits all over the reason this forum exists.

My Favorite trick though since craigslist days is I take a screenshot of potentials. Sometimes I wouldn't get a message back for a day or so and with the ads being gone, I could go back and see what it said. I do the same now with CXG, STG, etc. I don't do very many escorts, but the potential is there if I want and you'd be surprised how many times I have hooked up a few days after they have posted, or even weeks later even. If it is a dry day out on the stroll, I don't have to spend a half hour looking through the sites, I just pull up my screenshots and have already weeded out all the BS on those sites and have the ones I want to see picked out. Just my 2 cents, but has been successful for me.

Shew, the wrath of Shampoo. Yes, I have found many sites. Most girls have not. There is no new blood, just the same old same olds posting on them. I respectfully disagree. There is lots of "new" pussy to be found and since things opened up, things have picked up.

That list has hundreds of girls on it in all price ranges, not just the same girls. Oh sure there are a few sites that are consolidators or re-posters, but if one looks around there are many girls that are real that are available. Shoot, every time I do DD I find one of those sites and often do a little look around on the site. I set aside a girl who looks interesting and as a result have tens of possibilities on my 'list' as POTs.

I guess if one has to conclude there is no new blood, that they have not cast a very wide net or are fishing in the same fishing hole. Be like the Marines, adapt, improvise and overcome!

* When the sites were slow because of lock downs, the streets were bustling. (adapt) I keep seeing reports of "new" girls on the strolls all of the time.

Gents wake up! You can not talk about STDs on this site but in few select threads and you are specifically prohibited from posting that any girl is has an STD " in the forum unless substantiated by links to internet-accessible public records. ".

For those who missed it, a few years ago there was a law passed called HIPPA. One of the things this law does is protect you from having your medical records released to anyone unless you give specific authorization.

I see there are quite a few screen names with low post counts engaging the conversation these days. Hey, that is great! Either we have some new blood or these are new IDs created as a result of the WHFT fiasco. Hey new blood is great and new perspectives are always needed and welcome.

Now that said, I see some "interesting" trends in the way many post here. Perhaps I won't state this well, but here goes a try. Seems like, like azzh*les, everyone has an OPINION and thinks it valid to share that opinion. OK, I get that. But when one is just plain wrong or ignores the history of the threads when posting that opinion then Hmmmm.

Not to pick on anyone poster but an example comes from a recent post where a dude posted a picture of a girl and asked for information on her. Apparently the dude had a picture with two girls in it and cropped out one girl and asked about the other, the girl on the right of the picture. That probably was a mistake, poster should have posted the pic of both girls and asked who was the girl on the right AND identiy the girl on the left. But some monger comes along and states with conviction that the girl's name was ABC when in fact that was not true: the girl who was cropped out of the picture was ABC. OK, so the dude had wishful thinking and was excited: been there & done that! No worries. But what I found "interesting" was that this started a huge debate with many wrong "opinions" being posted and it wasn't until three or more dudes confirmed facts that the debate ended. Oh and in the middle of it, a few thought it was a good idea to take shots at others. So for a while we had the blind leading the blind. But hey, I guess if one is of the internet culture then this is the way they chose to live their lives and think. History has no value and all posters are scammers until proven otherwise in real time? Ignoring history or ignoring experience can be detrimental to one's safety. I'd caution others to think deeper, use history and understand that some of the LT posters are here to be helpful, they don't need to post, but do so to help others. So if you want to discount what someone says based on style, that is your prerogative. Boards would be much more useful if 'exercises in futility' were kept to a minimum, ego was checked and personal attacks eliminated.

Then I see a trend toward posting an opinion or what one "could do" which is theoretical in nature and something which the poster has no direct knowledge of or experience with. OK, new ideas are good and help dudes adapt as needed. But are these posts from a place of being helpful or seeing one's post in print? Are we seeking admiration and accolades from others? Are we getting some satisfaction from challenging others or taking counter-points from them? I have always said, this is only wh*rem*ngering! As such who cares if one gets accolades from some anon mongers on a MB? Nothing you can add to your resume, share with your friends or hold up in the town square. Maybe there are many who love this kind of "Survivor" mentality and take credence with those who counter punch the most? Hey that is anyone's choice to believe and act that way. I think it leads to the blind leading the blind, which in my experience is poor risk management approach.

Then I see dudes setting up strawmen only to turn around and knock them down. Again, what is the purpose in doing that? How does that advance the discussion? More self engrandization? More Survivor mentality?

These boards can be what you make of them.

My advice, based on my experience over many years and many learning experiences is to use the history and advice here to learn and develop some skills. Any hobby has a learning curve. Many experienced dudes who have gone before you have left bread crumbs and good advice. There are risks in this hobby and how one chooses to manage that risk is a choice one makes or ignores. Have seen too many become statistics because of ignorance (lack of knowledge) when indeed the knowledge was right on this site for them to learn.

So a few thoughts on the trends I see here. Hope this trend doesn't continue as constant engagement on this level is of little interest.
