A few others have reported that they tried this and CL has been super vigilant in sniffing out these and blocking the users or deleting their accounts or whatever. I know in the State of DE, those with Comcast internet service, one gets assigned a static IP address. With Comcast, from what I have read and in my experience, one has to leave their modem unplugged for 72-hours in order to generate a new IP address for the account. So that is a tough way around any block by CL.

I can see it only getting worse at CL, as they work to avoid getting their site seized.

So the key is what is next? A migration to sites like USA Sex Guide's Adult Classified Site? A return to posting about UTR girls on Bulletin Boards? Yahoo Groups?

Agreed! Such behavior only discourages sharing, IMHO. Which appears to be counter to the purpose of this website.

From what I read of posts by Admin other places, this site is not going anywhere. This site is apparently hosted OFFSHORE, that means in a foreign country where USA laws do not apply. So to go after this site for some liability would require international connections, embassys, blah, blah, blah that would take time and lots of money. Ever wonder why your favorite gambling site is hosted in some foreign country? Same reason.

Thanks! We can follow the migration, but suspect if CL catches wind of that, that section will be shutdown too. CL has repeatedly, over the years shown a HUGE risk aversion, that with this new law will continue.

Love to see where else the traffic migrates.

I can't remember how I came upon this site. But CL was actually listed as a source for job postings in a PA Department of Unemployment publication back around 2004. That's how I came upon that one, back when the site was really good.

I noticed locally and in other areas the CL posts have migrated to Activity Partners.

Any thoughts?

So with Craigslist throwing in the towel over the passage of FOSTA that would appear to take away a significant hunting ground for many. The questions is what is next?

Is there a site that will take over as a replacement? What is it? (USA Adult Classifieds does not seem to be effected, so possible successor.).

Will this lead to a large increase in posts on BP?

So what happens to Supply / Demand? Will there be girls desperate to find dates and as such one can negotiate LOWER prices? Will the streets pick up? Or will horny mongers be so desperate to find anything, that they will pay anything the BP girls ask, and prices go up?

If nothing else, is it possible that BP will start to "collect" those who use to fish on CL? As such will this result in a funneling of mongers to one site where it will be easier for LE to set up stings? (is this a time where it is more important than ever to be "educated" in the hobby and follow "the rules?").

All fwiw.

We can have a discussion of trafficking and the new laws if anyone is interested.

Oh and as far as "other " websites*** go. You dudes need to tell your favorite girls to advertise over on the USA Adult Classifieds (USAAC) site! This sister site is hosted offshore and as such appears to be escaping the baloney that other websites are experiencing. So girls can advertise on USAAC and put up the full text of what they use to post on BP. This way they can tell WHERE they are located (so time isn't wasted when you need a Dover girl & she's in Claymont) can describe their services and can suggest rates for companionship, etc. Got to be a whole lot easier than the machinations and BS we are going through right now. Yeah, might be scary to be "first" but I have dated a girl who advertised in the past on USAAC and had fun. So mention to your girls to advertise on the USA Adult Classifieds site:

***Oh and for those who have been scratching their head over the "changes" the other websites have gone through (BP etc) - where they are only allowing pictures and phone numbers. This is the result of legislation that looks like it will soon be passed and enacted into law a bill called SESTA - Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act. It changes the laws that provide "innocence" to websites who allow others to 'self publish' sex related stuff. It makes the website liable to damages to a girl if she was trafficked using that website. So websites are trying the photo & number route as a defense against said liability.

Last night, I had a hallucination (again!) This time, it was in the evening and I was on LA around the auto parts store, just minding my own bidness and apparently saw Michelle. Since I was headed to the post office, didn't chat long.
