If a lady wants just a few clients and to remain "utr", does it defeat the purpose to widely post about her, even write penthouse style reviews about her and advertise all over the boards, even write ads for her on stg? If a lady is truly utr it just seems to me that by definition that would be handled quietly back channel among a few people that the handler is comfortable with? Maybe that's why the open board discussion and promotion using passwords and the words utr seem so much like something else, because they don't seem to meet the classic definition of utr? Indeed, constantly promoting on the board, up to and including writing stg ads then limiting who can see the "tute" via passwords feels much more like pimping than concern about keeping an utr safe and discreet. I think the discrepancy between calling these promoted ladies "utr" and the actual actions to generate them business is where the separation in thoughts whether passwords are good or bad may be originated from. Incidentally, are there any other boards or posters on USA that uses passwords in the way the one poster in grand rapids does? If there are, what are the reactions and divisions created in that location?

Passwords divide us, this is true.
They divide the hard working members of this community that take risks and spend money to TOFTT occasionally. From the side line lurkers that contribute nothing to the community.
If a member gives another member a password, you are very likely contributing to the side line sloths waiting for a few members to do all the heavy lifting for the whole community.
If the sloths put half the effort into Taking one for the team as they do trying to scam a password from another member, they would probably get the password from me.
The lurkers need to start contributing.
So I would agree with some others on this thread that passwords are Bad for the lazy sloths that think a few should do all the work for the many.

I personally have met a ton of providers some thankful to have the help of some of us members and others eager to throw you all overboard. I can honestly say I know a handful of the members personal information on here meaning full names, occupations etc. I however am not the type to use that information against anyone. This is just a warning for any of you who think you can trust a provider with personal information.
