I was making the rounds through Downtown Troy last night. LE was everywhere, and there wasn't many people out. Just as I was giving up, heading for the GI bridge, I saw a tall blond possible SW near the parking garage. I had seen her several times before, she was 30ish, sort of cute face, thin, wearing jeans and a blue jacket with white stripes on it. And she is always walking with a black guy.

I wasn't thrilled about her walking with the guy, but when I drove by she gave me the look. I drove around the block and saw her friend but not her. Then I saw her again. About 25 yards from her friend. I looked at her and she gave me a little wave. There was a car behind me so I couldn't just stop, so I drove around the block again. This time, she got herself to an area that I could easily stop. I pulled over and she jumped in.

Because of all the LE, I wanted to get out of Troy so I took the turn and drove over to Green Island -- she didn't mind. She said that the police were everywhere the past few days and business had been tough.

We did the typical small talk/cop checks and she offered a BJ for $25. Normally, she said, it was $30 but she just wanted enough to pay the rent and go to bed that night. I didn't argue.

Went cruising in Troy on Tuesday night. I saw one very large BSW on 4th, near proctors and a very old WSW near the OTB in the atrium. Neither were my type at all.

I saw one possible WSW near Holmes and Watson's. Fairly cute, late 20's, thin. She gave me the look but was with a small group. I didn't like the group and the fact that she was cute. Due to last weeks sting operation and the LE that was everywhere that night.

The Troy Record reported 13 men were caught in a sting in Troy Thursday night. They listed names and address's. State police, Troy police and other agencies were involved.

Police arrest 13 in prostitution sting

Troy police officers arrested 13 people for patronizing a prostitute in the fourth degree during a sting operation.

The Police Special Operations Section led the undercover sting and used officers posing as prostitutes. The suspects were arrested and later released.

All of the suspects had to appear for arraignment in Troy Police Criminal Court Friday morning.
