Talk about luck. I was near that vacinity Saturday night. For variety I decided to head to it to see what was there. At the last minute I changed my mind.

And knowing what a sucker I am for the "**** look", I'm sure I would have been right there LOL.

I confirm that the bust was covered by channel 7 news last night. Apparently based at the Star Motel area. Manager quoted as saying he just rented rooms to guys who said they were with their wives or girlfriends. Too bad all of our wives and girlfriends don't look like the chicks being rounded up.

Was all the activity interupting the local thugs shaking down people for $ while trying to get gas? Cutting into time for admiring all of the burned out buildings, or the oportunity to set fire to more? Maybe it was all the traffic interrupting the very small children (3 to 10yrs) from playing in the middle of the street at 3am. Local students are unable to study all the gang graffiti in peace? I always think of what a nice area this is whenever I stop for gas or at Church's and order through 6 inch security glass or notice that within a wk of opening, the new Family Dollar store already had a broken window. I'm also certain the local businesses hate the added business since the roads were so promptly and wonderfully repaired. There are just so many reasons to stop in beautiful Detroit like uhhh, and then there's, oh and err. Sorry for the rant, I just think they have such bigger fish to fry. LE rounded up 26 SW and two johns last night (saturday) after complaints from the locals. One of the girls came as far as Texas to walk the streets of Mich. With all that activity out there it was inevitable.

I did a John R and 8 mile cruise last night about 11 Pm and saw Zip, Zilch, Nada. Kinda strange considering it was such a nice night.

Usually a take a quick trip down fort from Livernois to Clark in the mornings on the way to work. That'd be 6:50- 7:00. Same thing on the way home, anywhere's from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Swing up to the Fenkell/Tele to Grand/7 run from there then home, if I don't see anyone or chicken out. I might venture back out around 10:30-11:00pm and check the Fenkell/Tele to Grand/7 again.

Oh do any of you guys know "Beth"? The redhead that works the Telegraph & 7mile area? I'm working on getting her to take pictures. I think she has an idea of where they are going to end up so she keeps turning me down.

My hours are the same. With an occasional 11am til bout 1pm. But I must admit, it seems like I had more luck back when I did the night cruisin.

Just wait till the girl makes a move or gives the look, there is absolutely no sense in approaching girls who don't make the first move. Another thing I've noticed lately is some of the regular girls moving around. MI girls on Vernor, Fort girls on MI. It also seems like the pimps on MI are working hard on recruiting and even hassling the girls and each other in the process. I've also seen a pimp or two cruising Vernor. The MI east of Livernois area is completely dead lately, it was hopping, even on Buchannon about a month ago.

I'd still be pretty careful around there. A few years ago, Oakwood was crawling with SWs until the neighborhood got tired of having mongers proposition the local non-sw wives and daughters. They had the TV news crews out there and everything. As a result, you can hardly find anything on Oakwood any more. I don't think that will apply to Woodmere as long as the action takes place at night. Problem is, I see girls out there during the daylight hours too. We all have to be careful to not attempt to pick up the wrong girls LE or otherwise. Between neighbors picking up used condoms from the streets, in front of their houses and having their family members propositioned, they may eventually revolt. There are too many normal residents back there for this to last very long. It was good while it lasted.

I'd heard they were working the whole area. Last week I saw a couple of new girls walking down Woodmere, on the west side of the street though, seemed kind of odd, didn't feel right. The other night (late Sunday I think), I saw two girls, one a pretty blonde in black jeans and a t-shirt, the other I didn't get a good look at getting into the front seat of a black unmarked le car at the Vernor/Central intersection. I've also heard le has been hitting Fort street hard lately, not decoy operations, just a lot of patroling and hassling. MI ave last night was an awesome show, lot's of pimped hotties, but an unmarked brown Sheriff's car blew that apart. It's kind of sad yet funny at the same time listening to the pimps yell at the girls. Best to stick with who you know right now I think. Omyra's a nice girl, good find.
