As to the brothel article, I've heard similar reports from other areas. My uneducated guess is this. If you have an area with a fairly large number of itenerant (legal or illegal) South or Central American workers, you will find these 'brothels'. The guys need a way to get off too and they can't afford, or maybe even easily communicate, with American working girls. So someone brings in these girls.

There is supposedly a similar house on the DelMarVa penisula, but you don't get in unless you are fluent in Spanish and LOOK the part. In other words, blue eyed blondes can forget trying.

These places exist in a very shadowy world. LE probably knows they are there, but let them go because they can't get in to make the busts.
