Hi PZ,

I just spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Laughlin. Traffic was miserable, the hotels were overflowing, and still there was NO action!

I can't believe nobody has introduced a little adult 'activity' into this place yet. A pimp with an average stable could probably retire after one weekend here.

Alas, the 11/2 hour drive to Las Vegas seems to be the only alternative to 'self service' in this remote burg.

I visit several times a year and will be there next week for a few days

My Advice = Always stay at HARRAH'S

Not because there are any working girls there ; it's just the best Hotel in town

Laughlin is like the Connecticut Casinos in that it's a *Mystery* to me how any Casino doesn't have Hookers

A New Theory about this I just thought of =

May·be in a smaller place , it's harder for the girl to stay 'Anonymous' , like it is in LV

I'm back from Laughlin. Really nice weather there for this time of year.

There were three promising ads in the classifieds in the free local paper. Two of them had the same phone number. A call to that number revealed they were not too interested in coming to a casino hotel. They preferred a private residence or small motel.

A call to the other 'massage' number promised to call me back. I waited 30 minutes, called again, and was again told to wait for the call back. This is three days later. I'm still waiting.

Saturday night I spied a plump young thing in a see-thru sheer blouse with a pushup bra which only covered half the nipples. She was playing the penny slots. We made eye contact, and shortly she moved close enough to me for normal conversation. I decided to get right to the point. That turned out to be good. She wanted 3 big ones for cfs and cbj. Not at all negotiable. She said she gets takers rather quickly here all the time. Well, she had an okay personality, but the body and face were a 6 at best, so I couldn't justify that kind of money.

She probably does get it, though, just because of the apparent lack of competition down there. I checked out 4 of the bigger casinos, and didn't see another obvious/near obvious cg. A query to 2 cab drivers and 3 or 4 bartenders finally made me feel like a real pervert for even thinking about sex outside of marriage.

It surely seems like there is enough action of every kind in this town to support some type of provider services. Or perhaps it really is the 'family mecca' Don Laughlin promotes it to be.

I'm going to be in Laughlin next weekend. That is unfortunate for me, from the looks of this board.

I do agree with Marlowe, there MUST be something going on there. There are too many casinos/hotels not to have some action, aren't there?

Also, this is a covention town for smaller conventions, such as I have to attend. That fact alone has to support some kind of action I would think.

Any help out there, please post.

There is actually no street action in Laughlin, not even on or about the casion floors? Why is that? I have certainly seen many likely prospects the few times that I have visited, then again maybe the were just dressed that tway because of the heat. If you know something, don't keep it a secret!

Was in Laughlin a few weeks ago, saw an amp called far east massage, only one girl working there, but she was pretty hot, 50 for half hour, 100 for hj, insane price, but when your up you have no choice

Better off waiting until you reach LA. Lots happening and you are also closer to TJ than Vegas. I emailed a copy of one of the local fuck mags to several people - no posts from them or comments about the mag.

The only hope for Vegas are the locals who know the scene well enough to make it worth their while and the moneybags who can afford the trim, of which I ain't one.

I travel to Vegas regularly and although I've seen some SW's out and about, they were nothing I'd let in my car. I was approached at a gas station one time by this chic who told me to visit her hotel the next time I was in town (in my pre-mongering life). Thought that was pretty bold and now I'm sorry I dont have her info.

As for the high prices and the rip offs, like my attorney said after my first divorce "it's the screwing you get for the screwing you got."

A new AMP open in Laughlin, across from the Golden Nugget. 60 for an hour and 40 for HJ, nothing else available, yet. girls need money and it is slow there. Also, they were not to careful about me being LE so it is a matter of time till they get shut down.

TooBig, to answer your question the closest to LA, are the ones in the Pahrump area. All brothels are over priced. BUT! If it is very slow, then you will be able to negotiate down.
Street action is sporadic at best. I personally have just moved to, the Vegas area. You might cruise the Boulder Hwy area near Topicana and, down to maybe, Sunset at best.
Hell you are pretty much better off waiting till you get to LA. The AMP's here are real rip-offs. What these guys pay here for HJ's is ridiculous. It makes me miss Tn and, Charlotte, NC.
So in my assessment gamble have a few drinks and, use Vegas as, a break from your drive.

I'm going to be moving to the LA area in the coming weeks and I was wondering about the Nevada legal brothel scene. I've seen that HBO special on the moonlight bunny ranch, but 1000/hr for FS seems pretty steep (especially when Tijuana’s zona norte is so close), even if your with a porn star. I have two questions; what is the closest legal brothel to LA and are there any brothels that cater to the type that either don't have the money or don't want to spend that kind of money (1000/hr) on such a thing?

Well i was in Ely for the weekend and this is my assesment of the current situation there.

Stardust has a new (6 mos.) owner. His name is John Bloomburg. Young man, about 30 yo. He has big plans for business, including importing an occasional Porn Star. I'm not sure the market in Ely can support Porn Star pices, but I wish him luck. He has relaxed the atmosphere in the club, and had 2 decent ladies working this W/E. Since it was Silver State Classic Weekend there were about 135 racers and their various support people in town, and he opened up the club with a party on Friday night, and hosted the "Hookers Choice" awards on Saturday. Then on Sunday (Race Day) he closed the brothel and took the ladies to the finish line to hand out bottled water to all the drivers.

Big4 is once again opened, and has been cleaned up on the inside. The new owner either wasn't aware of the race, or didn't care, since he did nothing to promote business this W/E. Friday night he had 3 ladies in house, but 2 of them left Saturday morning, leaving just 1. I guess it was good he didn't do any racer promotion.

The bottom line is whether or not Ely can again support more than 1 house. If the Satardust goes high price, and Big4 doesn't do better planning when there are tourist events in town, I fear for the life of both of them.

Just one old mans opinion.
