I wholeheartedly agree. I've heard horror stories of people harassing people on Facebook as well as finding their places of employment. Most of these women make themselves available to the lifestyle because they expect a level of mutual respect and discretion. I understand that people want to avoid being scammed and learn of ways to quicken their search, but that should never ever come at the expense of safety and privacy.
