Now, little surprise there, but she's also training other girls at her sorority. AVOID anyone from UNC Alpha Phi, and likely others: there's a new generation of scam artists on the way.

I also spoke with her, she ghosted after I laid out the deal. You can't be scammed if you stick to your guns and your terms. No paid m&g, no paying prior to meeting and completion of the meet. Stick to that 100% and you are scam proof. "If they balk, let them walk". Not on there to be friends and be liked, I'm there to fuck. You'll have a more stoic outlook if you treat it more like a business transaction. Girls don't like it being "transactional" so they can blur the lines and boundaries of BS. Treat it like buying a car, they may "like" you less, but they respect you don't take BS.

Just get a google number. You can have many and always change it. Snap is good too but sometimes the fakes think you may put your real name in snap. I've had many girls want my snap and just never respond. The same with Whatsapp. That's my go to. I have a fake number there too and usually everyone I talk to there can be searched.

Used for video to video chat. Not necessarily for regular communications. My go to snap since I can get all of the nonsense out of the way if I have not validated that they are real yet. A quick f2 f video chat resolves fake pics and dudes trying to scam. Its just an additional tool that is non traceable. Its also a great way to see there true day to day activity if they post allot.

So Snapchat cannot be recorded or screenshot?

It's more difficult to do so without the other user knowing, but of course not impossible. But that said, the point isn't that it can't be recorded, but rather that it doesn't give the other end your phone number like Text / Facetime / Whatsapp on your personal number does.

Thankfully info was out of date and none of the numbers she saw were correct anymore. My folks honestly wouldn't care anyway though. I blocked her. She texted me from other numbers saying she wouldn't stop until I paid. I Kept ignoring and blocking her numbers. Eventually she stopped and probably moved on to lower hanging fruit.

Takeaway: DO NOT GIVE YOUR REAL NUMBER. If they say something like "iPhone numbers only" or "I won't text a texting app", she is 99% a scammer. Most rational girls I've spoken to on there also use texting app. So legit ones shouldn't have a problem with it.

No. She got my real phone number and got impatient I guess and started texting from another number to my real number, calling my house from that number, texting my profile pics to a relative. It got ugly fast after I blocked her.

Her byline mentions FaceTime as a requirement then she uses your "real" cell number to dig up info on you and then tries to (yes I'll say it) extort money to keep quiet. I know bad move on my part. But we had two really good phone conversations and she seemed "normal" and gave no hints of being a cyber stalker. I can't post a link because I deleted that account. Buyer beware!

Pics depict a cute blonde and the profile didn't raise any red flags. She did follow through on some of the threats so I had a day of uncomfortable cleanup to do. I also reported the extortion attempt to local authorities in case it continues. I was dumb.
