I suspect there's a lot who think it's an online-only thing because they see other girls do it, but thankfully, I'm not sure it's a successful strategy. Talking to a few girls who just started the site, they've all had the comment "wow people REALLY don't want to do online stuff. " I think they've had some people blow up at them at the suggestion.
