My favorite is still the one that told me she lived in "West Carolina. " And no, further questioning showed they didn't mean western NC; apparently, the scammer saw "south" and "north carolina", and just assumed east and west existed. That was one of the ones that wanted to give me hot tips about a new bitcoin. Yeesh.

I had written down all my thoughts on this one to help me process what happened, but decided to post a TLDR instead for the sake of privacy. May post the full writeup at a later time.

- Connect about a week ago and conversation goes well. Decide to meet for lunch
- Lunch date goes well and leads to hooking up
- Unenthusiastic BBBJ, rushed covered PIV
- Immediately starts texting about money every few hrs, daily
- Poses as a different person (Dolly profile I posted the other day) and texts from a different phone number and threatens to "expose" me
- I report Dolly account to SA support as an extortion attempt
- Trace both numbers back to Vivacious_vixen, find her real name, address, birthday, etc.
- Find her socials and she's got a kid and a deadbeat boyfriend/baby daddy

Letting this one die on the vine and won't repeat. If she tries to bring drama, I'll show her what all I found on her and send her a C&D letter.

Not sure how many guys fall for it but apparently a lot.

Occasionally you'll even get guys on this forum justifying buying pics or subscribing to their OF. Only encourages them and makes the problem worse. Start with the assumption you are talking to a 45-year-old Indian guy sitting at a computer center in Kolkata until proven otherwise.

I am in complete agreement. 10 yrs ago you could chat a girl up of the morning and be banging her that night. Now most of them want to dangle the possibility of meeting after you buy pics. Not sure how many guys fall for it but apparently a lot. Is there a scam school that these girls attend??

An update: she's a real person, but is selling a sob story mixed in with a lot of lies to try and eke out every dime without actually putting out. Avoid.

I personally think it's unwise to ever send money to someone before meeting. And in general I prefer the first meet to be a brief connection exploration with limited (if any) compensation. I'd be interested in knowing what she said she would do though.
