No one seems to have info regarding inexpensive hotels in Elgin, so lets expand that...Anyone know of anything in the far northwest 'burbs, like Algonquin, Crystal Lake, etc.

Not a prime area for notels.

There is a small motel on the edge of Bartlett and Streamwood. Located on RT. 20 [lake st.] I think it's in Streamwood. The Crest Motel. I drove by Tues. am, but it had a no vacancy sign lit. I don't have any other info. Good luck

There is a Days Inn on rt.25 just north of the N.W. tollroad exit. Looks like it could be what your looking for. All the other places in elgin are on rt.31 just north of the Tollroad exit. The ones on rt.31 are all newer. sorry, but I don't know of any notels in the area.

Adult Friend Finder is a rip. Nothing more than a glorified singles site. Once they get your e-mail address, they'll send you that kind of crap. There may be some contacts availbe, but doubt that they're any good.
