Eggo - You did fine sticking to your guns, but the problem almost invariably is that the subsequent enthusiasm of service isn't there. I haven't been to GF since Spring 2000 because of it's reputation for all eye candy but no sweetness. The reputation for several years now is that GF stiffs customers on time and with mechanical service.

Eggo - y take is you pay what you believe is the right 'value' for the services received, although i'm more inclined to only pay 'Mkt Value'.

I always pay $.6 or $.5, depending on door cover charge. Only once has someone been appalled with receiving this dollar amount - but this chick wanted $$$'s, so obviously she wasn't making any sense.

The only thing i would suggest is to tell her that if she doesn't agree to the price then you would like to pick another girl. Don't waste time, just get right to the point. Or, tell her you only want a massage. I know this is a hassle but I guarantee that if there is disagreement you will never have a good time with the chick you are with.

Just got back from San Francisco today from the Thanks Giving long weekend. On Monday I decided to hit Golden Flower. Very easy to find right on 2nd street.

When I got in, there was about eight to ten girls sitting across from me. Some ranging from 7 to 9 in beauty. I’m a big breast guy so I went with the one that had the biggest cans. Yeah, but it's all either retro pictures or crap. There are a few "girl next door" biographies, but they're crap. They all talk about her having an accent; hell, she had no accent, but her French was great :-); I don't know about her Greek, never tried.

I liked Kings and mourn its demise. GF is overrated and expensive and you may get the rush. There are a number of full service spas - mostly in the Tenderloin and thereabouts. try Sun Spa or Rainbow.

Never go to Green Door or Nuits de Paris - these are screaming ripoffs. In 14 years I have never heard anything good about them. Stay away!

If you are on the west side try the place on 25th and Lawton. This is a Chinese acupressure spa but you may be pleasantly surprised. Recommended because the facilities are clean and relatively new.

After hearing the good word about SF AMPs, had to partake. Went to GF for the first time last Wednesday. You know the drill before Thanksgiving, fly home for the holiday, drink some beers with friends, go to an AMP. Okay, so the last is a new tradition.

Got there about 4PM, as I had to drive a few hours to see the family. Line-up was small, but good quality, 7-8.
