Stay away from this pothead nutjob. She continually put up new profiles on WYP and comes and goes from SA. Met her for drinks one afternoon. Talked for a bit and she went to the bathroom, walked by me and whispered something to me while holding the phone, walked out the door, got in her car and left. It was only a $100 WYP date, so minimal damage. She wants extravagant money and actually said she should get a Corvette, used would be fine, before she started to see someone.

She's a bartender at some pool hall in Short North / Downtown.

She's just a rinser who has her take the money and run thing down.

Sorry to hear that. In my experience if I can't get a girl's number after a few back-and-forth messages on the site, and if I can't get her to meet up for a drink or dinner within a week or so, it's probably not happening. Of course if it's too easy--if she wants to meet up tonight, if she doesn't ask any questions or doesn't engage in a conversation about something other than an arrangement, etc. , then she's probably a pro or UTR girl so I usually avoid those too.

I've had a few exceptions, including one girl I met for coffee and then a second date for dinner. After our second date she explained that she hoped to be paid for platonic dates until she became comfortable. I was a bit disappointed as I had made it pretty clear what I'm looking for. But she was a sweet girl and quite attractive. So I stayed calm and explained that I have a life and many friends already. But for my SB I'm looking for something different. She understood but we parted ways. Five months later she texted me out of the blue saying she hadn't found anyone and wanted to meet up and start a proper arrangement. She was worth the wait.

But that's the exception. Unless a girl is really special, if she won't meet up for a public meet and greet within a week or so, I bail. Planning a date more than a week in advance definitely increases the chances of them flaking. There are too many options out there and our time is too valuable to waste it with flakes. It's easy to get frustrated with SA and the scammers and flakes. But it's really important to stay positive, keep the conversations light, and try to build a genuine connection with interesting conversations. Get her to want to meet you. Remember, (some of) these girls are real people, they're sometimes sensitive and can definitely pick up any negativity or bitterness.

I haven't been on SA in a while, I found a few great regulars. I did get frustrated with the games and the flakes. But I consider it the cost of doing business, since I prefer seeing girls who are 18-24 and that's not always the most reliable demographic.

From the sounds of your post, this one has issues and was never going to show up. Her profile has a lot of negativity, and that's always a red flag for me. There's probably nothing you could have done. I tend to avoid girls who are too negative, and I usually avoid profiles with certain phrases like "don't waste my time", "I know my worth", etc.

But in general, one thing that's worked for me in avoiding flakes is keeping the conversation going even after we make plans. If you keep texting with her, and if you have some texting game to keep her interested, she'll be more invested and more likely to show. Also I always confirm my dates twice. Once the day before I'll text her something simple like "Hey Michele, are we still on for tomorrow?" BTW I always use her name if I know she's using her real name, it helps to build a connection. If I suspect her name is fake, sometimes I skip it since it might backfire and make the interaction less real for her. Then assuming she replies, I'll text her the next day, 4-6 hours before the date with something like "See you at Standard Hall at 9!" I know it sounds simple and obvious but since I started doing that, I haven't had anyone flake and maybe one or two asked to reschedule but they did follow through and show up. It's a fine line, you don't want to seem needy by texting too much. But confirming the date shows you're serious and mature and it shows that you respect her time.

I chatted with Jenna when she first came on the site 2 years ago. I never met with her. She is way too old for what I was looking for, but I found her profile interesting and I like the tall ones. She seems like a lot of fun and I am sure she can drink with you shot for shot. She was ready to go for 200 and invited me over to her place. She was living off Sulley at the time but I am almost certain she is not a pro and has a regular job. I recognized her coming out of a store one time and, even though she looks decent for her age, and is proportionately built, I am pretty sure her profile pics are old.

This is at least her second profile. She's a little too old for me but I sent her a message anyway a while back and she never responded. I would need to see her face and body, not just the big boobs before assigning her TGTBT status.
