I've been interested in the 'hobby' for quite a while but have never partaken of any of the treasures out there. I just didn't know how to go about it safely. And well, I guess I'm a bit shy as well.

For what it's worth, I've heard from a couple of girls inside the last 2-3 weeks or so that the last motel on MM (the closest one to where it dead-ends into Oracle) has a night-clerk who is "very friendly" (accomodating) to SWs. I've given rides back to a couple of ladies who said that was the word, and that that place over the last couple months has gotten that rep.

It's always going to be a cycle with those motels, where one takes heat for awhile willingly (often on the decision of an employee or even owner) and then at some point has to lay-low for awhile.

So for what it's worth, the east-most motel on MM has the rep right now of being "accomodating."

i've lived in tucson for roughly 2 years now, and have only been reading the forum a couple of days, but i figure i'll drop what little wisdom i have in one big post to start off, so forgive me if this is a little long-winded.

watchdogs/scams -

a few have mentioned it, and i'll recommend strongly against two things. the first is talking to any sw who has a fella in tow. heck, i'm cautious about talking to a sw if she's with another lady, because there's no need for additional eyes or ears on anything you might talk about. most often i've seen sws with this kind of accompaniment in the drachman stretch, and occasionally on the mile.

as for scams, there are of course your "hop out at the light" types, but you should be smart enough to avoid that one by keeping any scratch you're going to float to yourself until you are at your destination. the more common and dangerous scam is when you go to an sw's room. we've all been cautioned against anyone "not on the move," but even if they are on the move and you decide to go to their room - you're taking a legit risk in doing so.

here's how the rundown works: she brings you to her room, and either there is already a man in there, or he comes shortly thereafter. she asks for scratch upfront, and after she has it, he takes it to go get her a fix or whatever other excuse they may use. after he's gone, she ups the price, and he is (quite purposefully, and often with another fella or two) right around the corner in case you get out of order.

at this point you can give up more of your own loot, but be warned it's gonna be the same thing over again. i don't know this from experience (and maybe some of you do), but i've known friends who've bit this one and in particular in my area of the oracle corridor.

the scarlet letter -

i noticed postings of this new law before it was passed, but never saw anything in the thread mentioning the details or that it went through. a couple of years ago, leo began putting stickers on the windows of party houses around the university campus after they were warned once or twice for noise violations or **** drinking.

earlier this year, a law was passed whereby hotel owners who even have sws in their parking lot can get (on the first warning) a sticker which they may not remove (by law) for a month or some other fixed amount of time. the sticker mentions the nature of the offense, and likewise can potentially destroy the business of that hotel with its legitimate customers.

this is of course a very unfair law to many of these businesses, because as many of you know, some of these owners actually essentially live right behind the desk and have a bed in a back room to sleep in. they have no way to monitor who is on their parking-lot 24-hours a day.

strolls -

it seems that these are common knowledge amongst most of the crowd here. i can tell you i've been hassled only once, and it was on south 6th ave. and 22 or 29th street (somewhere in there). the recent police activity and stings has been going on in much stronger force from what i've read, mostly over what is now roughly a year. about 2/3rds of what i've read was along that area of south 6th ave., but a substantial amount has also been the oracle corridor.

i don't know the south end well at all, but i can tell you that while you'll occasionally find sws along campbell or 1st ave between grant and prince, your best bet is still stone -> drachman -> oracle north -> mm -> ft lowell -> stone (repeat). more specifically, the roads running parallel to oracle along that stretch on either side of the street are often better places to hook a fish.

clubs -

i haven't been to many out here, but i've been to td's (east and west), curves, ten's and bunny ranch. i actually ended up dating two girls from bunny ranch, one in fact who hated stripping, quit right away and we ended up dating for nearly a year (not sure that tells ya anything about the place mind you).

of all of those i mentioned, the most attractive girls from all of them are fairly close between td's east, curves and bunny ranch. i'm a drinker, so bunny ranch is kind of ruled out for me (despite the fact that it's fully nude for part of the time - it's also too expensive). td's east is 5 miles further from me than curves, but even aside from that curves charges less for most dances and vip-type stuff.

Went cruisin tonite. Pretty dead along MM,Stone, Oracle. Saw one HSW with glasses and a big heavy coat. Legs looked okay, but couldn't see enough of the rest so kept driving. Nothing else showed up in a couple loops.
