Maryhcandy stood me up twice and the only reason I fell for it the second time is cause she sent me 2 hot pics. First time we were supposed to meet and greet at 4 and I went to the restaurant and she went silent and texted me at 10 pm that there were looters in her suburb and wasn't safe. Why she didn't text me on time I don't know. Yesterday we agreed again to meet at 4 pm and 3:30 she texts me what are you doing? I told her leaving the house to come to the restaurant. She goes silent and at 4:30 she says she is still coming. Didn't show up and texted this morning "Good morning how was your night 🙄? I can't figure out her angle cause she hasn't asked for money but set up a meet and greet twice and never showed up but today is pretending like nothing happened.

Scammer, looking for you to send Steam cards(cards used to purchase items on Valve's Steam store, which is a PC gaming service) electronically "5-10 minutes before you show up". Just for grins I said why don't I show up on the next block like 5-10 minutes before meeting, you pretend like you need fresh air, and walk over to meet me, and I'll hand you the card? Crickets. Like how is a Steam card going to get someone out of the house? You use it to buy video games to install on your computer, if anything that'd be keeping one in.

A little sleuthing found her linkedin which says she lives in Jacksonville, FL.

So. 1) maybe she's real and moved to Chicago. 2) Maybe she's a real person who is just using fake pics. Or 3) maybe she's a scammer offering a TGTBT scenario and baiting you into sending a e-gift card to a scammer. I'm going with door #3 she's a scammer.
