Texted her last week when she was listing Whitefish Bay as her home address. Things were going well, and we agreed to meet. She brought up the topic of how much, and I asked what she felt was reasonable. Played footsie over it until I suggested we meet for lunch and discuss it in person and a per meet was more my cup of tea with maybe 4 visits per month. The next thing I knew I had my inbox full of all sorts of nastiness, all themed around being a loser and I should just stick with the diseased street corner gal I'm used to, etc etc. I was tempted to tell her she didn't know the street corners here very well either, but decided to just let it go. Her last text said that for my information, she had received several offers at the $4000 mark. I thanked her again, urged her to accept one, and leave SA. I see she is now listing Chicago as her home turf.

What you describe is very accurate from my experience also and I have even had them agree to an arrangement and allowance and then go silent. There are also those that complain that I'm not offering enough and say bye but then after a bit of a wake up to reality come back.
