I doubt that is the case. I heard on WGCL that the sex slaves came forward. How the victims did that beats me. But bolstering that idea is the AJC's online coverage of the report:

Just wait until you are pulled over by the "Special Crimes Unit." I wasn't doing anything wrong, hadn't been going over the speed limit on the interstate, but they said they didn't have to have probable cause for the stop.

They didn't find anything, especially since there was nothing to find in the first place, but they did delay me for quite some time.

And less than a week later, while driving between Hoover and 280, they got behind me and rode my ass (at night). I was in the outside lane, dirving the speed limit, and at the time was wishing I had the bluetooth headset on so I could call *69 and report the reckless driver that was inches away from my rear bumper!

During this time period, there were numerous cars passing me on the left, obviously exceeding the speed limit. I guess they are only "selective" in the type of laws they wish to enforce.

I have just come to the conclusion our fair city has finally gone to hell. A couple of historic events have contributed to this and I will list them as best that I can remember.

The Den closed and opened under Kay's control. It was never the same as when C.B. ran it. Add to this Kay's bi-polar issues and it was doomed from the begining. Though she could give a top rated bbbjtccimws, but that only goes so far guys.

Norm's closed down. I use to love that place. You could get anything there at pretty much any time. Plus the office poker games were quite interesting.

The mess up in Anniston with the Platinum Club. Granted it was in Anniston but it had the trickle down effect here.

Lynn selling the Playlate. I thought this would be a good thing but sadly it hasn't. Same crappy interior, same high prices, and same low quality of dancers.

The whole mess with Sammy's being total jerks about the Furnace opening. One would think they would welcome competition and strive to do better, but they didn't and haven't.

The issue with the law passed in 1998 and the ABC board up and deciding to enforce it now. And this was all due to the Furnace getting its permits. Also it supplied Mike Hale the media attention he craves. Too bad he won't be re-elected because it is going to cost a small fortune taking his name off of every car and piece of equipment in the department.

I agree 100% with Clark Kent. I also have had my run in with the SW that hangs out at Motel 8 on 1st. Avenue. She very seldom roams far from the Motel. I believe she has a room there. I have seen here several times over the years, and I think she has done some improvements to her appearance, but not to her attitude. She got into the car with me a couple of weeks ago and immediately wanted money and then go back to her room. We all know what problems that can cause. After refusing to do this, she wanted rent money and then wanted to get out. She even opened my center compartment. Well, she got her wish, she got the later of the two, I kicked her out.

If you pick her up, make sure you have nothing of valuable laying around, because I am sure that she would snatch it as quick as possible.

As the old guy on the TV show "Hill Street Blues" used to say: Lets be careful out there!

I picked up this girl tonight on 1st around Motel 8 thinking it was someone else. When I saw she wasn't who I thought, I told her I changed my mind. Then she started wanting money to get out, and I just basically crossed the street. When she saw she wasn't going to get any, she said for me to not let her see me around the area or she would call the cops on me. I'm not worried about that at all, but she's one to watch out for if you don't want any hassles. Her name's Stacy and is white, mid 30's, tall, a bit stocky, and has long brown hair to the middle to lower part of her back. I'm tired of these girls who try these bully tactics to get money. I'm not the one they want to pull that mess on. I've been around long enough out there to know all those type tricks, and I just deal with it by going down the road and calling the cops and saying something about a disorderly person fitting their description trying to get in cars or the like, or if I'm in a bad mood something worse. Called them on her since she was talking about calling cops, and if she wasn't moving around so much, they would have found her, lol.

I spent most of the afternoon driving on the east side from one place---Sky, Relax, American--to another 8 Motel. Found plenty of zombies. Found one possible at American, but when this long haired lady disrobed, it was evident that she had lost a lot of weight. She had so much extra skin it was like having a threesome. I could not finish, so left. Even went over near the old football stadium, but it too was too quiet. Maybe the ladies all were good last year and got what they wanted from ST Nick, but I was good too, and all I got was a lump in my pocket.

If anyone has news let me know.

I visited Time last Thurs (12/22) and found "BeBe". She is one gorgeous and sexy girl. Breasts are a very nice "C" with a very neatly trimmed landing strip. Since there has been a few girls of Platinum Club fame brought up recently. I thought I would ask if anyone knew of or had seen any of these lately. This is my 1st post even though I lurk here often. I already feel like I know several of the posters here. Here we go. There was a dancer there that went by "Obsession" had a great body, I mean super nice spinner type. Another I was close to was "Kami" I'd really like to know what she is up to now. One I thought was perhaps the best looking girl that ever worked for Harvey was a girl named "Cheyenne" she long black hair a dark tan and wore suede moccasins. The girl's I really hung out with was "Paradise" can't remember her real name. Some other's "Ironic", "Candy", and "Diamond". If any has any info on any of these current whereabouts please post away. All of these were circa 1997-99 or thereabouts.

Hello all.
Second attempt to post this report with a photo.
Anyway - I saw the dumbest cruiser today that I've witnessed in a long time.
At noon today, I turned onto Hwy 78 @ Cherry and saw a young BSW getting into a white Chevy. They pulled out ahead of me, and turned onto Daniel Payne Drive, my normal "circle" when I'm in that area. I figured thay would go on out to a secluded spot ( many out there ) but they stopped right in front of the middle school!!! ( see photo 'stupid' ) School is out for break - but the staff was there. More nerve than I have.
