A2 has transformed his body this year. As a young man I was pretty athletic. As a middle aged man I turned into a fat fucking tub of lard. I can't say enough about 4 hour body. Sane, reasonable, simple, effective. There's nothing faddy about it. Less carbs, more protein and veg, simple exercise. Best part for me is you really can eat a lot on this thing. Took a week to adjust to it, kind of spinny head, but once my body figured out I was running on coal (complex carbs) instead of high octane gas (simple carbs) it figured it out and then I felt tons better.
Sex is way better without a big belly.

Exercise I go in three month periods to eliminate boredom. Started with a mix of light weights, and moderate cardio. Then went to once a week weights with much more cardio. Just finishing 3 months of heavy weight no cardio, next three is back to heavy once a week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVhhbC51_3k and then two HIIT aerobic and one long steady state to burn off the rest of the belly.
A2.

Posts: 296Yup I'm in the same boat, a little younger but have injuries that are already plaguing me. What motivates me is I'm looking in the mirror and I'm not liking what I'm seeing and my pants not fitting because of my fat ass LOL. So started P90 x again, I did a round 6-7 years ago and had awesome results. I found out now I can't really do the cardio portion (the part that makes you really sweat) because knee and groin pains. I'm not getting the same results and have been doing it for 2 months. I am getting stronger and starting to look better but the fat loss is not really happening like it should. So this week I switched it up started Body Beast and I'm definitely sweating way more than I do in P90 x because the workout is designed to burn fat as you lift. I am taking a shit load of supplements so I'm covered there. I do know that if you have a committed (to exercise LOL) workout partner it makes it easier because you won't let the other person drop out and constantly push each other. I tried asking my friends, there all to lazy ass to want to commit to exercising. SOLO YOLO.

I'm not quite 50 but working out is just as hard to do in your mid 40's. Motivation is a personal thing and will be different for everyone. I was tired of being fat and tired all the time so I changed my entire lifestyle (you can't change one aspect without changing every aspect). I was like you, by the time I got home I was tired and just wanted to chill. So I started going first thing in the morning, which works well with my schedule. I lift 3 days and run 2 days and I can say it worked for me. Lost 40 lbs, can see my abs and my energy level went through the roof. The first few weeks were hard, but once you get into the routine, it gets easier. Just my take.

Braddahs,
Any of you guys over 50+ still work out / lift weights? I understand a healthy sex life helps longevity (it's my pleasure, trust me LOL) but I'm asking for advice / personal stories:
What motivates you to lift? Any cardio? I can't bring myself to get my fat ass off the couch and pump iron. So mentally tired sometimes I just want to relax and drink. My knees getting bad too. Any helpful positive information appreciated!
Aloha.

Does your source for vitamins also supply antibiotics? I'd be interested in picking up some meds and keep it just in case. Zithromax would be good but also regular throat / upper respiratory meds like amoxicillin. Let me know. Thanks.
