But a dick doctor is what we're talking about here, eh? Boys, there are risks associated with taking T boosting treatments. But the guy 'selling' them to you will be less inclined to tell you all that.

Here's a question. Has anybody gone to this clinic and taken a test and been told, "Bra your T is fine. No need. Good bye. " I would guess EVERY guy walking in there is told, "You have low T!" What a surprise.

I've been seeing my urologist at Straub for years. My family has a history of prostrate cancer. So I've been monitoring all my PSA's every 6 months and my GP doctor watches all my other blood chemistry levels. Been doing this about 6 years now. I initially walked in there asking about my 'low T' and wondering. After initial blood work my urologist told me my level was normal for my age. Of course I could take T treatments and increase the level and increase the risk of expediting any prostrate cancer issues. I decided to pass.

My brother is the same as me, decided to take T treatments and his PSA's went off the scale. Other problems too. Suffice to say, nothing is without risks.

I don't want to get on anyone's case. This is just my 2 cents. But be careful. There was comments earlier that the clinic in town does not (or did not) have a urologist on staff. What? Isn't that a prerequisite for having this kind of clinic?

I've suffered from issues common to those with prostrate cancer related problems. But I'm still healthy and PSA test still have me in a safe range. I don't take T supplements upon my doctor's advice. The urologist I see at Straub is one of the best in the nation. His recommendation to me, "Not really worth it, costs, increasing other risk issues, while solving others. Take your pick. ".

So, my solution is a steady diet of blue pills "as needed" when the mood strikes me.

Stay safe out there boys. Monger on.

Here's some advice on TRT from a doc on YouTube that doesn't have a vested interest.

I'm currently getting TRT from UMC. I opted for the treatment not for sexual benifits but for energy levels. A little on my background, I'm 35 2 kids (3 & 6 mo) work full time and always felt like my energy was on empty. I could take pre workout or an energy drink and want to take a nap right after. I'm physically active, good diet, and in shape. I went to my initial appt. And after my labs came back I was boarder line for low T. My first follow appt. My levels are that of a 20 year old. My energy levels are up, my work outs are like they were before my kids, and I'm constantly groping my SO. I don't monger anymore because I got caught and don't have the freedom I used to. (Phone records, phone gps, email access, etc.). I was bummed at first but it made me realize, is my self pleasure in this hobby worth losing my kids over? Fck no!! So I troll the boards living vicarously through your posts haha. Getting to the point, TRT has changed me for the better, increased energy to do more with my family and not be so "short" with the kids because I'm tired all the time. Only side effect I'm recenty experiencing is acne like when I was a teen. Theres a lot of info on the www as well.

Just my. 02 cents. Be safe brothers.

That's sound advice: always get clearance from a doctor before undergoing this treatment. I often see this stuff advertised for sale on the internet and wonder how many guys actually buy without first getting their testosterone level checked by a doctor before using this stuff. It's very important that this is done first.

Regarding Universal Men's Clinic (they do have doctors on the staff), on the initial consultation, they will draw blood and check the testosterone level, as well as review your medical history. Using the results, they will prescribe the proper dosage. They will take additional blood tests every few months to monitor progress. Their product consists of a cream that you rub into one of your biceps immediately after showering each morning. In my experience, I didn't experience any problems or adverse effects. It did boost my energy level quite a bit after 3-4 months. I was satisfied with the results. I stopped using it after two years because it was getting to be so damned expensive. Now, my energy level is crap, so I'm going to check with my doctor to see if I can somehow get a less-expensive prescription.

The increase in the level of testosterone comes with a side effect: the testicles atrophy or shrink. Nature's job for them of producing testosterone is taken over by the injections so they're no longer functional or needed.
