A long time ago I had a fashion show girl tell me I should go to the cigar club. This must have been at least five years ago because I think I was at the apple bar on lake st downtown and its been years since they shut it down.
Anyway, for what its worth - it was on diversy on the north side of the stree a couple of blocks east of Harlem. When I got there the door was locked - and there appeared to be no activity inside - maybe there too early or maybe they werent answering the door.

I lived in the Mannheim/Fullerton area for many years when it was a place that was really happening for s/w's.Early 80's to around 1990.There were days and nights when there were so many ladies out that they were fighting over corners.Many of the ladies were bs/w's but plenty of ws/s's too.Dressed to the nines with the short skirts,wigs,makeup,the works.Most of these ladies were of high quality looks wise.And of course the strip joints,Club Taray,etc.

It began going downhill in the early 90's and now has become a area that has the worst in crackhead ******,rip-offs,and just plain nasty offerings.You can find better quality on the west side.Mannheim is now a place to avoid.

Was in the Chicago area for a visit from out West, and had the opportunity to hit Mannheim on Friday morning (12/10) just after 11. Saw a blonde in a red jacket walking on the west side of the street between Armitage and Fullerton. I turned around, went slowly past, got the smile. Circled around a bit more finding a good spot to pick her up but there was someone else trying to do the same. Eventually just left and let the other guy have her. Ran an errand in River Grove and came back down Mannheim again. Didn't see the blonde but did see some potentials standing outside that bar next to the Lido Motel.

I was warned by one of the ladies. Could just be women being women, but having seen the ones she mentioned, I couldn't doubt her so much.

On the bouncer. Yeah, that's a big guy. He wasn't there when the fight broke out. I don't think he could have handled it on his own anyway, there were probably 5 or 6 people involved simultaneously, at least one of them using a pool cue (chicks...). The bartenders jumped in there, and tried to hold it down, but it was way out of hand.

There were at least a half-dozen cops in there by the time I got out the door, and it showed no signs whatsoever of breaking up. You've got to be on some kind of drugs to fight with the cops like that. I've never seen a scene go quite that crazy all across the board. Part of me wishes I'd stuck around, just to see the conclusion, but then... I'm generally averse to any sort of interaction with law enforcement.

BJ: You probably ran into Cat. She's actually a nice kid, a little scraggly, but very GFE. Not much into sucking, but she's a pretty decent ride. Someone you want in a hotel room not in a car - - if you want her at all. Lots of goofy little tats all over her. Still, she's very nice to be with.

She has an ad in one of the Chicago papers for escort work, not sure she does much. I've seen her more further north, but never out walking.

It's all about WHO is giving you the dance. You may spend $10 at OSB and get a great dance, or not. The same can be said about any of the other joints. IMHO, the girls that have been around give you a better dance. It helps if they've gotten to know you too, i.e. you're a regular.

I went to playpen and carls wednessday night. Two girls at carls from what I could see, five at playpen. I did not partake as it is alitle too public for me.

I finnaly decidded to stroll down Manhime I picked up a blond young 5'4" or so alittle thick not fat. She got in the car and I began to drive off when le passed me with the lights on they had some poor guy pulled over up the street and were putting cuffs on him. I asked the girl (Cat I think is what she said her name was or it could have been Kath) if she had a place she said we should just find a place to park. With all the le around I took a pass. It is a real shame there are no places around here like Belvideer.

I visited Bobby's on Sun. night. I had just bought my first drink and was looking around when a fight broke out by the pool tables. I wasn't interested in seeing what was going on, but almost everyone else was. While I was sitting at the table, Raven came over. We agreed to a dance, but as the fight was now escalating, we stayed at the table. Great dance, plenty of rubbing and stroking on both of our parts. This continued even as the cops rushed in. They were pretty preoccupied with the fight in back and just ran past us. It was a bit of a rush to be getting a HJ while all the commotion was going on. We decided to wrap it up when the cops had the combatants in cuffs. That was when the cops told the girls to get dressed and the bar was closed. I didn't need an ingraved invitation, so I was out of there. Raven's dance was 20 bones, but she has a nice body and is not shy.
