So all those police officers who stroll up and down telegraph from 5mile to 7 mile couldn't catch that guy that shot up a daycare but they manage to bust a guy getting a date from a willing participant? Gotta love this city!

That news was actually about an increase in the bond required after an arrest for prostitution:

I just heard on the news the new fines for selling and soliciting sex is 500 bucks. That should stop the rash of violenc in the city. LOL

This town is becoming a joke. They just threw the lil coop they were gettin out the window. Now, outside of stings, they can't prove anything. Who the hell would cop to 500 bucks. Remember newbies, the cops are not nor ever will lookin out for you. I been stopped once for havin an SW in the car. No one had warrants so it wasn't anything they could do. Be smart and aware.

Thanks, for the info. I knew the SIX is long past dead. But I did not know about the $900's and fines. That will STOP me from visit to Mongal. I ain't ready to fork over that kind of Cheddar for an OPP's. For that I can get a Porn Star, and make a Movie.

Detroit Update for fellow mongers who have been away for awhile.

Question: Can the LE stop you for having a known prostitute in the car and did not see you pick her up?

Answer: Hell Yes!! and will. For every car they take I think it cost $900.00 to get it back, not including fines.

Question: Jumbos bar and Six still kickin?

Answer: Hell No!! Damn, that was a long time ago, you guys are bringing up the dead. Six is now a full nude bar, Jumbos is a hangout for dopers and pushers. The Cass Corridor is hit and mostly miss.

Question: Did the Casinos make it bad?

Answer: It was going bad before the Casinos even opened. Most of the action is from escorts.

Question: Can SW's be found in Detroit?

Answer: Hell Yea! Just got to work for it. Just look at some of the prior reports and pictures. But you monger at your own risk, just like shooting craps

I had a fun day in Detroit today. Following all the driving I did in the state and meetings today it was time to relax. I decided to head to Michigan and Livernois
before hitting the Holiday Inn ( Fairlane/Dearborn). I hit the jackpot. Two (2) very cute young petite girls. First one was black, half cut shirt, pierced belly, small tits and great little ass. The second was a Hispanic, again cute and petite. I doubled back but couldn’t find the Hispanic. Then I spotted the BSW. At first pass I asked if she needed a ride, she had a big smile and said no, but thank you sir! I drove around once again for the HSW. Again, couldn’t find her. Back to the BSW and she hopped in. No talk of what we were going to do or money. Just said I need to check into my hotel and she could wait in the car while I do that. She agreed. I checked in and went back out to get her. Got up to the room - she was a talker. Agreed on .60 for CBJ or 100 for FS. I opted for FS. We filled the hot tub and took a long bath, kissing and groping each other. Then out to the king size bed for doggie and cowgirl. She spent about two hours with me. She said she would be advertising on another board and traveling soon. I can't speak for the times you visited Jumbo's, but when I used to frequent the place, in the mid to late eighties, it was loaded with good looking, young babes. And the action on the adjacent side streets was even better. Anyway, a question. What law is being broken by having a prostitute in a moving car? I could see if the police spotted an actual "pickup", or some type of action in a parked car. But giving someone a ride is breaking the law? If it's come to that, I'll keep going to Windsor.

The Laws have really changed in Detroit. So What are the laws they are using to Pull Over Folks NOW.

I hear they can take you car, or search it without warrants, and if a known hooker is in it, give you a trick without ever catching you in the act. What all can they do to hassle you.

Detroit use to be my place, before I became adventurous. I go all the way back to the WooDSix days, and the After Hours places. I guess the Casinos coming to Detroit have really screwed up the SEX industry there. I guest I will need to change my plans for the visit I was going to make.

I went to the JazzFestival , and saw alot of half dressed Fines Big Bootyous, Thick women there. I stayed at a Hotel in the Farmington area (I think). I found more tricks and freebies at the hotel lounge, I got with. I got to Detroit on a Wednesday and left Monday. I got a girl from the lounge, about 90 minutes after I arrived. I took her to a late breakfastaround 2am.We had been drinking since midnight. At the room she charged me only $75, because I treated her to dinner and drinks.

She left at 6am, after (3) good nuts, and the last was a good-bye hand job. I got a call from her around 3pm, at the Hotel telling me If I wanted two girls for (2) hours for $150. I said "HellYea", and 10 minutes later she was I my door. She called me from a nearby location. My friend was like a classy Mary Jane Blye type, but her friend was like Jane Kennsdy in her Shapely days. She was "T-DOUBLE-O BAD". sINCE i WAS SHOWERED AND SMELLIN GOOD. wE GOT DOWN TO BUSINESS. They brought over the beer and drinks. After the first session, I realized why they were there to see me. They want me to turn them on to the men at the hotel who were willing to paiy $100-200 for a few hours of, you know?

I CAN SEE THE PRICES IN dETROIT ARE REALLY GOING UP. Soon the going rate for a decent SW will start at $200, like in Vegas.

It is very hard to say "NO WAY" with two fine girls naked besides you. Even I have my limits, so I agreed. What the hell. I worked out great because I got to screw several of their friends, at a big discount. and I never had to hit the Street or Strip Club scroll. It was "GGGGREAT." I was (3 ) ladies a day. I really didn't do anything but tell the fella's about my night. Hook them up with a number, and to tell the women who to avoid. I think the staff at the hotel knew what was going on. We had 5 guys rebook to our hotel after they found out the deal.

Just because of this event I thought Detroit was back, but it is even worse than I thought. I stopped cruising Detroit after the Police pulled me over because my head rest looked like someone was in the car. Instead of admitting the Cops made a mistake, they said I let her out somewhere, and kept driving. I did this with them 3 cars behind me. An obvious lie. Two Black cops at that. By time they let me got I had 8 cops around my car with lights everywhere. That was it for me. And I did not get a trick or anything. And I refused to let them search my car. That cost me an hour of just sitting in my car with bright lights in my face. Only when a neighbor of my cousin who lived down the street saw me and told the police I really was staying at my cousins, did they begin to let me go. THAT was ENOUGH for ME! I refused to come back and that was 2-3 years ago. I should have sued them. I just wanted to get the hell out of Dodge. The worse thing about it all was the neighbor, a block down tricks, out of her home, and I use her when in town. So that time I was LEGIT, and NOT looking.

Jumbo's bar, man what a place. I recall that place in a totally different era of Detroit. It was unbelievable .

There were bad times too. Like the time I was robbed. I would chaulk it up to pure stupidity on my part.

I remember the woods-six, but I was too young and nieve to know what went on there.

I wish there were bars and theatres back like that again and if someone knows of any, please pass on the info.

Sounds like your enjoying yourself, good job. Its been about a week now and i'm getting the urge to get back out again. I know what area it won't be in, Telegraph/Grand River area. I have seen sw in the area but have never felt comfortable over there. It's so wide open. LE looking in your ride for sw's, then stopping you!! I think i'm not that desperate, good luck Nwest.

Anybody know of any hang out bars in the city where there is sw take out on the menu? I did Jumbo's years ago before the guy was killed up in there and I wasn't impressed the least. Sw's were few and from what I can remember not inspiring at all. There were dopers, pushers and scamers trying to sell you anything stolen from colone to fake gold. Car alarms going off and everybody running outside good times. Now there expanding WSU housing down that way. I've driven by and see cars parked there and the door open. Couldn't tell you what its like inside though. I'm sure it wont be there much longer with all the new construction.

I had a similar experience a few months ago...scared the crap out of me. I was trolling the side streets just north of Fenkel and east of Telegraph, when I saw a familiar WSW stroll down the street. Her name is Amy, probably no more than 20 or 21 with long blonde hair and a nice rack.

She hopped in my rental and we negotiated 20 for a bj when just as we turned the corner, there was one of Detroit's finest coming the other way. As they past us, I saw them take a look at Amy in the passenger seat. They immediately turned around and put on thier lights.

I was shitting my pants and Amy was calm and cool about the whole thing. She said to tell them that I picked her up at the Flame bar (around the corner) and we were heading to the party store nearby to get some beer. Sounded good.

Cops pulled me over and had me get out of the car. My wallet was in my trunk (as it should be when picking up a sw) and I had to watch as they tore through my luggage to find it. I told them the story that we came up with, they didn't buy it. They asked if I knew she was a prostitute. I said she hadn't told me directly, but I assumed she was.

Told them I was heading to the airport to get back home to DC (which is true) when I stopped in for a drink at the Flame (told them it was an old hangout) to kill some time. Well, I had to stand against thier hood and look into the camera and tell my story. I heard about 'John TV' and I was getting worried.

Luckily, Amy was clean and didn't have any drugs on her. They let her walk and then told me 'Get your ass back to Virginia and don't ever come back down this way again'. I said 'Yes Sir!" and cruised on out.

That was my closest call. As a side note, I had to make a pit stop to dig some clean underwear out of my luggage

I'm a newbie here, but not to the "hobby". Anyway, a friend of mine told me that the old Cass Corridor bar, Jumbo's, was open again. Any mongers know if that's true or not? I had a lot of good times there in the eighties. (had even better times at Anderson's Gardens and the Willis Show bar in the seventies, but alas, they are history).
