So what's the going rate for platonic lunch or dinner dates? I have thought about entertaining that approach?

I don't hesitate at giving them $60-100 for having lunch with me. None have ever complained about it. I appreciate their company and I want to honor the overall purpose of being on the site, not from a monger POV of course. It hasn't always lead to "more", but I'm fine with that. While I'm still holding on to the "pay no more than $250" budget, this isn't just about the money for me. There's a human on the other side of the table, and I want us both to have a human connection. Based on what I read in these forums, I'll never get that from any girl on STG or a SW or an "escort" LOL. I've never made any effort to meet one thru those other sites, but I browse those sites to help weed them out from my SA searches, since they do sometimes make profiles on SA. And, if I get the impression from any girl on SA that they'll only see me as an ATM, I won't bother meeting.

I have never and would never pay someone just to hang out and have lunch / dinner / coffee / drink. Defeats the purpose really.

A smart girl if she was hot enough could make a decent living doing that. Meet for dinner, conversation, make a little gift and then either ghost you or she can just say 'sorry, I didn't really feel a connection' and you'd never see her again.

IMO, there is NO upside to paying someone to meet and see if you are a great fit, etc. But, whatever works for you.

I agree. I have had a lot of success on SA and I never paid a ppm for a lunch / dinner, unless we had some fun afterwards.

I do SA when on travel and will gladly pay for a dinner with some cute, screened, potential baby. Honestly I enjoy it and much prefer meeting under those conditions. They are the greatest encounters.

Met my forever atf in jax when I'd regularly get down there. She moved and I was bummed for a year until one night on the road I thought of flying her to me. It's awesome. The real question is had anyone made it work for a first time meeting? It would open the potential babies to astronomical numbers that would blow my mind LOL. Airfare is cheap.

Unfortunately for it to work for me I would have to go out of town for a couple days or just put them up in hotel and see them as schedule permits.

Most of the girls I have met this past year do not do public meets they prefer discretion and would rather have the cash than the food. I enjoy dining just don't think I should have to pay for it.
