Hi I'm having an extended visit to the area and Blue Ocean seems to be the go to spa. I did some recon yesterday and all the spots in Charlottesville area appear to be in low traffic areas at least on the weekends so that is a bonus. Took drive to body energy (I'm a sucker for TS) but they appear to closed for renovations. Tried Blue today but couldn't get anyone to answer phone or respond to text.

Any tips on contact? Could my out of area phone be an issue? Should I just walk in? Appreciate any tips.

My buddy was in town this weekend and was looking for some simple body work before and after his races.

Ocean had some MT turnover, looks like its just Nancy, Cindy, and LiLi now. Angela left to return back up north and unlikely to return, according to the boss. Good news though, the new lady LiLi is in her late 50's but quite the skillful masseuse, probably the best he's every experienced from these AMPs! LiLi was able to find sore problems areas and attack them with strength, releaving his sore and tight spots. LiLi is a bit older and not my buddy's type, so he was not interested in her _other_ skills, but she probably won't top Angela's anyway. He will be returning for the good cheap massage though.

This Ruckersville spa was closest to my rental, so being too lazy to drive an extra half hour round trip on top of my hour round trip, gave it a try. Amy has been there for just a couple of days. Short, frumpy, decent chest, work done on face. She was nice enough with a good menu, but NY prices came with her. I'm here, so. She does have some skill though. Facility was pretty nice but next to busy pizza place, but I don't care what anyone thinks, so I walk in like I own it. Everything, including the talent, was clean. No real complaints, but would have hoped for someone more attractive and less expensive. . 6 for hour, decent massage. $$ total out the door, full hour given and lots of small talk. Did not get a visual on another Chinese lady I heard with another customer.
