I'm still new at this and I would like some guidance as to the proper etiquette to follow when trying to contact a lady.

I called Allie this morning and let the phone ring 5 or 6 times. Her voice mail answered, and I wasn't sure what to say, so I hung up.

I then thought about what I wanted to say and texted her asking about her availability between certain hours today, and asking about where she was located so I would get an idea of how long it would take to drive there if she was available. About 2 hours later I called again, and when she didn't answer after the 4th ring, I hung up. Then near the end of the time frame I had mentioned in the text, I texted again asking about her availability.

Was this the proper way to initiate contact with her? Now that I think about what I did, it doesn't seem to be the right way and probably made a bad first impression. I don't want to seem like a pest.

What is typical? Should I have just started off with a single text instead of a call, and if she didn't reply to the text, assume that she wasn't available and try contacting her another weekend?

KISS-keep it simple stupid! I'm not calling you stupid. Follow any instructions such as "calls only" or "text only". Don't ask too many questions like yours about location and hours of availability. Don't seem to be too impatient to hook up-that's what LE does. One call or text. If they don't reply, move on. Your last sentence is pretty much what you should do. . . Start with a text (unless otherwise stated) saying that you saw her ad and would like to get together when she's available.

Since Allie is a USAAC Advertiser you can PM her to let her know that you're a member of USASG.

Keep in mind that these women are getting their phones blown up and some of those calls are LE trying to trap them.

I pretty much do the same thing at Brit does. Start with a pleasant greeting, tell them where you found them and if / when they available. If it's the first time meeting a provider be ready to meet them the moment you contact them.

Good point about the vibe I get from their response. If I detect an attitude or bad vibe from their response I won't respond.

Just give the girls mutual respect as long as you don't call a girl out of there name there is no right way to initiate a date. She probably didn't respond for her own reason which happens a lot no matter how nice you are to a girl understand that she doesn't want to see you that's why you are paying for her time so just ask if she is available and then go from there you aren't asking her to the prom. My biggest advice is never give a girl the benefit of the doubt if something feels weird back out and don't get attached like I said they don't really want to see you that's why you are paying so don't do any favors for them (wire money to them with a promise of seeing them later with a discount or something) plus 9 times out of 10 she has a boyfriend that she will just give the money to anyway.

That's fine I don't expect a girl who I have to pay to see to cater to me like she actually wants to see me but the thing is with ruby is that I've contacted her a bunch of times last year with no response and I've been contacting her the past month consistently with no luck even after she tells me she is flexible and this time is good to meet only to either change up plans or go back to not responding to calls or text for another week and then repeat this process.
