For the first quarter of 2020, I decided to put a concerted effort into SA (almost exclusively) to find a few unicorns. ,. , silly me. ,. , not even close. Here are a few of the bullshyt situations that I endured:

* After finally talking on the phone with one after texting for six weeks she said, "I'm afraid that my rambling bores you since you don't respond fast enough". I responded with "Inducing boredom is actually being kind to the mind-numbing pseudo-banter". I was contemplating piercing my eardrums. No thanks, I'm not interested in any conflicts that she had on social media.

* I mentioned to one young lady that she was not within The Dating Equation threshold for being seen with her in a public place. She mentioned that if she didn't exhibit any public displays of affection, the people in the restaurant would simply think that I was her dad. It'd just be a normal Father-Daughter Date Night from their perspective. No thanks, that's worse that perception that I was trying to avoid.

* I had another young woman, in metro-Atlanta, inquire about my NetFlixx subscription. In lieu of visiting this fine city to get acquainted, she wanted to choose shows that we would watch simultaneously while video-chatting the entire time. When I told her that I only used streaming shows for background noise and never watch anything all the way through without pausing, she was just as confused as I was with her "3 2 1 Go!" suggestion. No thanks, I'm a grown azz man.

This is were KelseyKel comes in and prevented me from continuing to wander around in the wilderness.

• KelseyKel to the rescue:

Saw Sabrina a few weeks ago. She hasn't been advertising but she still takes regulars I guess. My experience was good. Her skills are still top notch but something doesn't seem as good. The cleanliness of the location has taken a turn for the worse. The cat fecal odor was overbearing! She also seemed to be clock watching which isn't typical of my previous years of experience with her. She said she had been very busy with her legit job but who knows. I may move on to other providers for a while!
