I was in the downtown area earlier this week and did manage to get out one night to check out the stroll. Unfortunately, at midnight on a Tuesday, there wasn't much going on. NBW was empty from Central to 13th. I was hoping that the light mist/rain would separate the pros from the public--but apparently no one wanted to be out in the drizzle. Checked some side streets, to no avail.

When I passed the Auto Motel I did notice a couple of girls walking from the office into the courtyard area. One was kind of heavy, the other was small. On a later pass I pulled into the parking lot itself and saw an open door. As I was turning around to head back out, the larger girl came to the door and waved at me, but I decided not to go chat.

Sadly it seems that a monger who only gets to Wichita once a month or so needs to get pretty lucky to pick up a SW. Luckily there is other action (of which I did not partake this trip).

Angel (formally used the name Amy) on the Wichita date-line advertises in the adult categories. She is a slim white girl 5'11" about 130# with brown hair and hazel eyes. For all of you that have found the date-line to be a good source of entertainment, be warned that there is a black-mail scam going on on the system. I don't think the girl is directly involved, but her boyfriend picked caller ID numbers off her phone and has started calling anyone who has had contact with her demanding money to keep quiet.

The particulars:

The girl involved goes by Monique. She has an ad in the adult categories. She is a really hot black girl with 4 kids by the low-life boyfriend. He had moved out and she was seeking some other friends on the system. He got the numbers when he came back to visit the kids this weekend.

I had talked to her a couple of times. All I had done with her so far was buy her dinner and buy some groceries for her kids. Well, he is hitting me up for money so he won't spill the beans to my SO. Since I couldn't explain to the SO why I'm on the date-line to the SO I've had to pay his first installment. This is what I get for being nice.

Fortunately, I have a way out since all he has is my phone number, and I am having that changed as I type this. The change should even be done before the SO gets back from vacation. Thank goodness for the crank calls my kid has been getting from classmates so I have an excuse to change the number.

But be warned. Stay away from her. Although I don't think she is directly involved, she is in a bad situation and will have to get away from him before she is safe to see.

And me. I've learned a valuable lession from this.

Sorry I didn't read your post until just now (late Sat. night/early Sun. morning).

I visited Pleasures a couple of nights ago. Here are some observations, along with results of direct questions I asked.

The side of the club that was all nude, on the west side, is closed but is being remodeled. The three stages in the formerly topless side are still used. When the remodel is finished, they'll combine both sides and have 5 stages.

I worked my way around paying the cover charge, but I think it's five bucks unless there's a special show.

I can't believe what the numbnuts who pass as politicians have done: the girls must cover their nipples with makeup, glitter, latex, or (fill in your own blank here). Note bene: usually the materials covering said nipples in no way obscure the general texture or shape of said nipples, and if you're so inclined, may actually enhance the visual experience.

Here's what makes this totally laughable - vaginas are exempt. Yep, that's right, the girls dance nude (except for the aforementioned nipple-film). 'Course, it takes them a couple of dances to get there, just as always.

Was there a general uprising in the Wichita populace that discerned that headlights were a danger to the community, but bearded tacos bounced inches from a guy's nose were no threat? When I crossed the state line into Kansas, did I enter an alternate universe? No, wait, don't answer that last question.

As far as I could tell, little has changed in Pleasures because of LE. Nope, you can't lay on your back on the stage to tip the dancer anymore. I think it's also verboten to touch the stage or the girl, but these rules were being bent a bit the night I was there. I didn't want to spend the money on a private dance, so I can't report on what's allowed/encouraged if you buy a $20 drink.

Honestly, having spent some time in Brazil, (check out the Rio section), I was more interested if I could find a "date" there.

I can't think of any others. I have heard of some changes as far as no more nude dances, and even some places that aren't even topless (pasties only). I recommend the first or second one. Personally prefer the 2nd because it use to be fully nude. Not sure if it still is. Hope it isn't too late. Good luck. Was in the air capital earlier this week. Spent some time early Sunday night cruising the NBW area. Picked up Casandra by the apartments south of the QS. I had seen her before.
