Hi,
I will be in the area for 8 weeks, any thing out there ?

My fathers friends use to joke about a place in Deadwood called "The Purple Door." About 10-15 years ago the city was alowed to revitalize their tourism by opening gambling establishements reminesant of the 1880s. I assume that any action that had been available was quickly cleaned up in the name of capitalism.

There is a major Air Force base in the area. I find it difficult to believe that the GIs out there don't have a place to blow off steam.

Any news on Rapid City would be greatly appreciated. I know there has to be some action out there but I have not found it in Rapid City.
