I haven't been there in awhile. At least 3 years now. What I didn't like about it then was that the barmaid would try to force you to buy the dancer a drink and it wasn't anything cheap. Also I can't remember how long the lap dance was for? i know you had to pay in advance.
Anyone know how long the lap dance will last? I believe it is $20.00 so it can add up very quickly. thanks

I was in Vics this afternoon around 2 in the afternoon, left to do some work and came back around five.

The scene at Vics has changed a bit. The ban on lap dancing, when a man is seated and actually has a lap, continues. A new face behind the bar has been added and he carries a flashlite and hassles anybody getting too cozy while seated.

For some reason "lap dances" while the man is standing against the wall is ok. So, the walls today were lined with men with their backs to the wall and woman with their back sides gyrating against the men. That leaves only a thin passage way between the gyrating woman and the men at the bar.

Nevertheless, the place was mobbed from 3-6. There were about 20 woman and probably 60 men.

Of the woman I saw four who have white facial appearances; the two older Brazilian women and Lizette and a cute gal from the DR. I like the black girls and just mention this statistic for those interested in what's available.

Personally, I have nothing against older woman or heavy woman, but sexually I prefer young, slender gals with pretty faces. I counted six or seven in that category. One doll there today called herself "coal". Another cutie with glasses is "Mercedes." There were 3-4 woman who were too old for me and another 3-4 who were too big. But, all I need is one that excites me and, as I say, there were 6-7 who looked and felt great.

All these girls give the same line when asked about take out so they must be discussing it and trying establish a better rate for themselves. The story is that it now costs $25 or $30 to get back in if they leave, so they must have $100 or $125 if they are going to leave.

Not every girl will leave but I'd say that 80-90% of them will.

I hooked up with "Candy" a short, pretty, friendly girl from Brooklyn, who drives out to Vic's daily, with a friend. We went to the 50 Ball on Nye where it felt like I took my time to do it right but in fact, to my surprise when I checked my watch, took just 15 minutes to satisfy myself.

Candy says that she didn't trade sex for money until she was 23, earlier this year. Some guy offered to show her the "track" in Brooklyn and she decided to try it and made $500 the first day.

I paid her $100 and dropped her back at Vics where she intended to try to sneak back in and avoid the $25 charge.

As usual all was relaxed and safe feeling in Vics. I feel like its my Cheers bar, except nobody knows my name. Nobody was wearing tape that I could see, but when I'm in a certain mood I barely notice the men around me.

As for the identification thing, a simple PM to each other the next day could easily verify someone was or wasn’t who they said they were. If someone lies, post thier description! The tape doesn’t necessarily mean anyone is obligated to exchange webnames or even interact for that matter. I think most participants would appreciate just knowing they were in the company of another WSG member at the very least.

I have'nt been to Vic's since late summer, I was wondering if it has gotten any cute young girls yet?

Last time I went there, there were some grandma's there trying to put their thing down, that just triped me out. There were a couple of cute chicks but most were shall we say "rather healthy" or just really plain looking with minimal sexy factor. They did seem game for some play, frequenly making themselves available for a thorough fingerin' and would yank your dick through yer pants at the bar but it sure would be nice if they were sexy too. As far as parking, it's probably similar to Paterson in a lot of ways; drive around Newark for a half hour, and you can see a number of places where one may be "relatively" secluded (near cars, but not near a house's windows, one way streets, warehouse districts, apt. lots, etc.)

One can also see the pattern of their cruising if looking for it, they tend to avoid uninhabited sections but for a cursory drive-thru, looking for out-of-place cars, they heavily patrol the various projects, and rarely go into the nicer sections late at night due to not wanting to disturb upstanding citizens. Another thing which has been going on for.. about 4-5 months? has been that marked LE cruising around are always running their lights. They have had problems recently (gang-related), and using the lights I guess is telling people that they are out there and active. (They also have the UC LE, mostly gang units, but they have been known to do commando stops. Just relax and be calm, and they rarely pull people outta cars once the plates are run and legit.)

(Note: not opposed to identifying myself in a spot, but would much rather do so discreetly; anyone who reads this board could then say they were ME or something if I walked into a place with tape. (I'm sure some have seen me if they go to any SC's. *shrug* And seen me on the street for SURE. Not opposed to being ID'd, but if the wrong eyes do, it could make it difficult to enjoy my hobby.))

After thinking about it, a mark on the hand wouldn’t work well with dark skinned mongers and I don’t know who would be willing to peel their hands from a dancers ass long enough to maintain hand signals either. Also, as cool as an icon, symbol or certain letters might be, it probably would look suspicious to the girls after a while or worse yet be mistaken for something gang related.

So I’d certainly be in favor of the small piece of tape (any kind of tape) on ones shirt above the heart and a willing participant if enough others were. It’s simple, inconspicuous and everyone has easy access to some sort of tape or sticky label. If you see a fellow taped monger you’d care to acknowlage, just point to your tape to confirm and say hello. Could be practiced in any Jersey tit bar really.

Thanks for the fondling feedback about Vic’s though, it will definitely be on my “must do” list for 2005. Never did the Newark stroll but will have to poke around when in the area. Finding hoes probably won’t be hard, it’s finding safe parking in an unfamiliar area that always worries me. What degree of LE presence is to be expected?

Was coming home from a function sunday evening, and decided to take the long way through Newark's Ironbound section. The strolls had been dead all weekend, as others have posted, so figured 3 straight days couldn't suck (I literally saw NO woman in JC from 4-5:30 Saturday.)

Around 6pm, ran into a WSW named Angela. About 5'4, brown hair, prominent nose, and glasses. Didn't know how thin she was at first, due to wearing a thick coat, but was more boney then most would ever want to be with. (Total appearance; about a SW 5. Only 27, but would have added about 7-9 to that.)

Once we agreed (.20 BBBJ), we found a spot and did the thing. Technique is really good; not rough, and went for ball licking and sucking w/o asking. BUT, she was rushing in a BIG way; after about a minute, she started complaining and asked me to enjoy myself until ready to come, and she would allow the CIM. Thanks for the advice, unfortunately I got it a bit late. Vic's was soo very closed, but luckily my taxi driver was really cool, and he took me to some of the other clubs in Irvington. Of course the other two were closed as well. (Why is this, in NYC, Sunday is a pretty busy night, must be zoning laws.) He finally took me to Florians'. Kinda lame, but I had no choice. It's a Go-Go bar, so it's bikinis only, not even flashing.This is just the standard dollar dancing/groping joint. But hell, it's cheap fun, $60 from 8 til midnight, and this is including drinks! Try that in NYC! Oh yeah, it's $15 each way by taxi, but again, even the taxi would have been more expensive in the city.

In New Jersey the minimum drinking age is 21.This bar is in a generally poor area so this may not matter. Being over 18 you should be able to get in but not be able to drink I would think. This may depend on the bar or the person in charges policy. They might not really care depedning upon how you look and act. If I was you and its not that far away I would just walk in like you belong and see what happens.If the guys seems cool but asks for ID say you dont have any on you or pretend you forgot it. You'll prolly be ok in this bar during the day, its an area where I'm sure people have better things to do than hassle you.

Went cruising early xmas afternoon and couldn't find nothing but throwbacks. I got a little frustrated and caved in and decided that this one girl was decent enough. She was at best a 5 (face). Scooped her up off of Nye ave and Fabayan in Irvington. The body was a lil chunky but I can deal with that. Thick bottom and top. Kangaroo baby pouch...etc.

Public transportation from the Bronx to Vics is a bit extreme IMO. Irvington is not a good place to be without a car AND not knowing the neighborhood.

Vics is decent, but it sure isn't the holy grail of action to come that far.

I would think its closed today. I am told the best times to go are during the week and mid day. Starting after say 1pm until just after dark. Irvington isn't exactly the best neighborhood and being on foot may not be the best idea. As far as public transportation goes I would suggest the following:

Locate the closes bus station to the place. From what I have looked up NJ Transit has a bus depot close by. Chancellor and Springfield Avenue. Check out this url ( http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/bus/T0001.pdf ) for the bus schedule. According to yahoo maps this location would put you about 10 minutes away. I'm sure you would have no problem finding a taxi to bring you 10 minutes down the road. I would get the guys card or a few taxi cards to be able to get a ride back from there to the bus depot when your done mongering.

Are any of you other guys condemmed to go to Vic's by public transport. Being a lifelong resident of NYC, I actually don't have a car, but the reviews of this place seem so astounting, that I need to trek out there by public transport. (well..coming from the deflated Bronx scene, most other states seem jumpin'). that I need to trek out there by public transport. I figured to take the PATH trains to the Newark station. and then maybe catch the #27 bus??! The bus is where I sense the serious fuck-up-ability. Does anyone know the right bus, or even how much a taxi will cost from the Newark station. I figured that I'm not the only one in this situation, so a public reply probably wouldn't clutter the board, or you could just P/M me. I'm trying to go tomorrow late afternoon (dec 26). Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
