There is no checkin time. There is a time range for the booking you make, but if you're not there at the beginning or the end, no biggie. I have used it a lot. Yeah, basically. Example: I've used 2 places near the Battery recently. One lists room availability from 10:00-2:00. The other from 10:00-5:00, and priced at $119 and $124. When you reserve, they ask when you plan to arrive, within 1 hour increments. It's not really a confirmed reservation, as all payment arrangements are made directly with the hotel when you arrive. Last week I said I'd be there between 10-11. I cancelled at 9:45. No issues.
