She sitting in jail right now and she gave it back to them thinking that it would help her somehow. But it's not going to help her much being that she's here illegally on top of everything else. And it was perfectly legal for me to have those cameras in my bedroom aimed at my bed. And if I didn't have them there they wouldn't have done me any good. All I could do is be suspicious that one of them actually did it. At least detectives have copies of the video and they didn't even question why I had them in my room. They actually commended me for having so many cameras all over my house inside and outside. And said too many people don't. I really wanted to come here and be Petty and post it immediately after it happened showing that it was perfectly fine for me to do so. But I like to be the bigger person, which is obviously missed by quite a few people here in their character.

So call it whatever you want to call it and judge it however you want to judge it. Go ahead and assume whatever you like and try to judge people on a site like this with all of the other craziness that goes on 1,000 times worse than anything I've ever done. If this is your Hill to die on then go for it. I won't be replying to this anymore. I'm not trying to argue and debate over pettiness and what other people do. What an amazing coincidence. Almost immediately after being shown the actual text of the criminal statute stating that what you're doing by secretly recording sex acts in the bedroom is illegal, you just happened to record a theft in the bedroom and the cops said it's great that you have cameras.

Even setting aside the absurdity of the "coincidental" chain of events, you're still missing the nuance in the statute. The exception to the general prohibition against recording in private spaces allows recording for security purposes, making those legal in certain circumstances: "(B) For an owner or occupier of real property to use for security purposes, crime prevention, or crime detection any device to observe, photograph, or record the activities of persons who are on the property or an approach thereto in areas where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy".

Does a cleaning person have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the bedroom while cleaning? I doubt it, and neither did the cops in your story. Does a woman have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the bedroom to not be filmed while engaging in sex acts? Yes, she does. In fact, a court specifically found a violation of this statute when a mistress recorded a married CEO having sex in the bedroom. Moreover, recording during the sex sessions is not for security purposes, crime prevention, or crime detection.

Jeez, it's like talking to a brick wall. I'm not telling you or anyone else not to do it. Other than a very narrow sliver of sugar relationships (dating with meals, gifts and trips, and not allowance or PPM), this whole forum is dedicated to discussing the joys of prostitution, which also is illegal. But for god's sake, stop trying to convince people it's legal when it plainly not legal under the criminal statute.

Bartenders and waitresses do not want to be hit on when they are at work. You're taking advantage of the fact that they *have* to interact with you since you're their customer. It's like cornering a girl at a party and preventing them from walking away. And on top of that if they reject you does that mean they lose out on their tip? There's too much pressure on the situation. I could see it working if you make friends with a girl and you're a regular, but I think hitting on women while they're working is in general pretty slimy.

Just because it has worked out a few times for a few people. The exception does not make the norm. I've been in the food service industry for 30 plus years. I'm now an owner operator in the food service industry and I do pretty well. And I can tell you this, the female service absolutely can't stand it when they're constantly hit on every 2 seconds. It's true they don't get bothered as much by being hit on by someone they find attractive. But that's how it goes for any woman. But in general as a rule no matter how good looking you are around how much charisma you have. They genuinely get tired of it, especially because they feel like they have to be nice so it won't affect their tip. And that's why this guy with the whole Hooters saying made it clear that he tipped her beforehand, because even he knows this is an issue. As an owner operator I've even had to go deal with patrons who wouldn't stop hitting on the females to the point it was offensive. And even had some removed for just being complete creeps. I'm not saying you can't do it I'm just saying it's pretty frowned upon.

During the tail end of the pandemic I imagine waitresses were struggling. This requires some game, and it doesn't hurt if you're decent looking or a charmer. I had success one (and only one) time with a Hooters waitress. It wasn't planned or calculated, I was eating dinner and there to watch a football game. It wasn't very busy and I'd been there over an hour and we started chatting. During the conversations she mentioned her young son, which is only important because it meant I knew she was a mom and likely single (no wedding band) working at Hooters, which is a prime demographic for possible SB.

Asked her what she did for fun, and she mentioned traveling. Asked her about the most exotic place she'd ever been, and she replied Panama City, FL. Told if she enjoyed traveling she really needed to get her passport and go to Europe while she was young enough to enjoy it. "Oh, well, that's not exactly something I can afford. FWIW years ago I had a smoking hot barber that as time went on I ended up going to her place to get my haircuts rather than the shop she worked out of. She was always complaining about $ issues and I broached the subject of a mutually beneficial arrangement with her. Needless to say I tipped astronomically well for a haircut and we had a really good time for a number of years. I'd simply call her up and say I needed a haircut every couple of weeks and sometimes she would give me a cut but she always gave some trim! She eventually fell in love moved to the country and got fat.
