This new poster, "Officer21," claimed in his first post on January 22 that he went to a particular massage business, and heard a woman working there saying (in the Thai language) "that she recently took one of the at-home tests, and she had tested positive" for Covid. Officer21 claimed that he "dashed out of there as fast as I could". Officer21 warned that this purported situation "could cause Covid to spread rapidly to other workers and customers" at that business, and urged other mongers to "be very careful" and "stay safe out there".

Yet, disregarding his own warning, in his second post about a month later, Officer21 claims that he returned to the exact same massage business! Even though he's usually "a pretty careful person," and even though there are other massage businesses available. He now says he soon tested positive with an at-home Covid test.

Smells fishy to me.

Vaccine Ineffectiveness.

I was vaccinated with the J&J vaccine back in September. I had not gotten the booster shot. I was recently at the Pin Thai at Aiea Town Square. I was there this President's Day weekend to get a massage from one of my favorites (keeping the name anonymous due to the content of this post). Masks were worn throughout the whole event.

The next day I was having lunch with a friend and I noticed that I couldn't taste anything. I went home and took one those at-home Covid tests. I tested positive. Other than no taste and a slight cough, I don't feel that bad. I am going to go to my doctor tomorrow to get a second test just to double check. I am usually a pretty careful person, so this is the only place I can think of where I could have caught it. Everywhere else I go is with family or friends that I know well. Just a reminder that wearing a mask and having the vaccine doesn't guarantee anything.

Was thinking the same thing. Guarantee would have had more posting of bro with positive tests and symptoms after. Getting naked and sharing droplets with infected therapists for an hour at at time in an enclosed room. Never happen, so I guess the story was just that. Be Careful Fellas

I was recently at the XXX at XXX. I was finishing up my shower after my massage, when I overheard 2 girls talking about Covid (I am part Thai, so I understand the language). I heard one of them (sounded like a younger girl) say that she recently took one of the at-home tests, and she had tested positive. She seemed like she was unsure about what to do next. That was all I heard. I finished putting on my clothes and dashed out of there as fast as I could.

There are some people that still might work, even if they are infected because they are desperate to make money. This could cause Covid to spread rapidly to other workers and customers. That is why I am bringing up this issue.
