For anyone that actually stepped foot in dayton swim and social club will get a kick out of this picture. I'm sitting here and kid you not the guy that ran it walks up next to me in bar.

The video made me very nostalgic for the times my girl and I went there. Like I said in a previous post, we preferred 101, but the swim club was fun too.

Honestly I think you need to look at EVERYTHING you deleted.

The person basically was trying to say, that because I said I'd doubt about GFE experiences of others, and have not having any of my own he made this silly assumption I must be some super ugly guy who the girls don't like to date, etc.

My post was about letting him understand he was far from the truth.

That was where DSSC was. Closed a few years ago. I had friends who were members there. There was another called Seekers, located in the basement of the dental clinic down Dixie, near what used to be the traffic circle. What a sweet deal that place was. Several fabulous house girls over the years.

There was another up Main St. , near what used to be Barnsider, pretty close to the old Crab Shack (that may not be the right name, but it's still there under another name). I got the tour there once and did spend some time that day, but never joined. I'm sure there were others around the area too. I remember one near New Carlisle, Park Layne area.

There were a couple in Columbus too. Those were the days!

Myself and and a girlfriend were pretty active in the scene around 15 years ago. We made lots of friends online and at the clubs. Club 101 was our favorite. We became members there shortly after it opened in an old VFW post. They built a new hall for the vets up the street. We were also members at Dayton Swim Club and Temptations.

The clubs tend to have cliques. If you fit in you have a good time. Most couples are looking for other couples, not single men. My girl wouldn't give a single guy the time of day.

Oh, you must have had a few, it was on the right coming from downtown on Salem, called Temptations. It was a good spot until the landlord got pissed by somebody and kicked them out. It had a full pool and a big hot tub, good sound system, glory holes, private rooms, pool tables, girls on pool tables, and refreshments. I do not know of any Swinger Clubs on Main St, maybe it was underground & UTR.

But it was in the old holiday health spa and further up Salem then you're remembering and I'm wrong. Coming from downtown it was on the right, in a strip mall.

So I'm Google-ing around at work today and I run across a link to Ibogaine which I followed and read up on it a little. It is a pshychoative extract from the roots of an African Bush that has amazing properties in the treatment of many forms of chemical addiction. Including alcohol, meth, cocaine and opiates (heroin). It induces a 36-hour "trip" from which addicts return detoxed and with their brain chemistry "reset" to a pre-addiction state so they no longer crave the drug. WOW, it eliminates the physical addiction as well as the mental addiction. Ibogaine is a controlled substance and illegal in the US because no drug company has ponied up the billions it would cost for clinical trials and FDA approval. This is probably because they realize you can't make money if you cure a patient rather than put them in maintenance mode (like methadone Buprenorphine (Suboxone), or Naltrexone. The recidivism rate is very low too. Sounds too good to be true. Maybe this would be a good candidate for one of those executive orders. It seems that it might be more useful that a wall and it would cost a lot less too.

If anyone has any experience with Ibogaine please PM me, I have a friend that could use it. Maybe a few friends.

I first became aware of Ibogaine at least two years ago when I came across an article about it. As you said, it definitely sounds TGTBT. But all the references and reports were consistent. To the best of my searching and research, there are no treatment centers in the US, for exactly the reasons you state. Have you seen this link? I was interested because a few people close to me were addicts. They had been in and out of rehab. They had been on methadone, and tried Suboxone programs. One ODed and was found by her 12-yr-old child, needle still in her arm. Another ODed more times than I can recall, and finally died from it last summer, about a week after getting out of adult probation, clean. She was found unresponsive by her 6-yr-old a couple of days before the fatal dose. (She was my waaaaay UTR for some time. What a fucking shame that she died because we really liked each other and we spent a lot of time together. I knew her since she was 19.).

You are spot-on with your comment about the money-making aspects of the maintenance programs. It's ridiculous what they charge for Suboxone treatment.

My post on that thread was basically to say the same thing. All of us have different experiences and sharing the details helps us all decide what is true and what is white knighting.

Wow. I've only seen bickering like what we're seeing on the Dayton Escort thread typically only on the Cincinnati boards. Then again, the Dayton boards have not been this robust and participatory in a long time either. I'm talking about this conversation here, http://www.usasexguide.info/forum/sh...=1#post3319635.

I find it surprising how there are members who criticize other members for being thorough in their reporting. Why not? Even more surprising are the accusations of falsehoods. So what? After a while it's easy to tell the White Knights from the just-the-facts guys. The beauty about this entire forum is how opinions can be freely expressed. In fact, it's amazing. And it fucking free! So why criticize other monger's attempts at a solid report at all? If you don't like wordy posts, ignore them. Or at least PM them yourself. But to criticize someone publicly on this board for taking the extra time after a visit with an SP to hopefully educate the rest of us mongers in terms of what that provider will or won't do, smell or not smell, smoke or not smoke, swallow or not swallow, kiss or whatever, is GOLD! How would any monger here NOT want as much information as possible before making a decision to take the plunge? Where else can we obtain this desperately important information? Yes! It IS important. Then, after enough posts about a provider from various other mongers we can then make our own educated decisions. It amazes me how a monger, much less any senior member, would be so quick to shoot down another senior whose motivation is to be a good community member and responsibly report to the rest of us. WTF?

On the other hand I absolutely admire any monger brave and financially stable enough to TOFTT and not necessarily care whether or not there has been a prior report on the SP. They are my heroes because I'm not as young as I used to be so, no, I'm rarely going to be that TOFTT guy any more. I don't have the stomach for it any more to be honest. So I also believe any monger who performs a TOFTT should absolutely be rewarded with praise from everyone else, too.

So seriously, shame on any monger who would criticize another for reporting in any detail. This is what the forum is for!
