It was a good run. But I don't have the stomach for this hobby any longer. Without going into detail I have finally acquired an incredible situation for myself that now leaves me completely, and ironically, distracted from the hobby. For the first time EVER I am now not only compelled to give up the hobby, I honestly don't find myself that interested even in checking-in to the board here just to see what's going on. I still occasionally do for entertainment. But it's now been weeks since participating. And after this post I see myself signing-in less and less until I'm probably soon not going to be checking-in at all. This comes after over 40 years of mongering on four continents around the world and the small fortune spent supporting it. Most importantly, I have no regrets!

I've seen and experienced it all. And though I'm as fit as I was in my twenties, I cannot mentally keep up with the volume of trials, tribulations, and troubles associated with today's current version of the hobby any longer. Some may say I'm wimping out. I think it's more like I'm mentally worn out. I mostly attribute this to direct and indirect byproducts of the heroin epidemic. I've never experienced anything like it since my first encounters with it starting around seven years ago. Before these past few years, the volume of thievery, lies, deceptions, stray needles and paraphernalia left in my car and / or hotel bathrooms, dope sick sob stories, blah blah blah was nowhere near as high as it is now. And then finally around a month ago I had my first terrifying encounter with a gorgeous high-end passed-out provider who finally woke after an hour (and just before I was about to sacrifice everything to do the right thing and call for an ambulance). No, I won't name names here. For me, it's simply time to retire.

Don't get me wrong. I not only had a blast over the past decades (and I've had some absolutely amazing experiences), I learned a lot about myself and what I've concluded about the true nature of humanity.

Though some of you may be thinking, "he'll be back. " I won't. Even if what I believe I've finally established for myself now turns out to be a drastic miscalculation (which of course is always a possibility), I'm settled with my "mexit" (short for monger-exit). Not sharing details about this, but for the first time I am completely undistracted from my personal path. It's actually sort of weird to no longer be hobby-distracted during a relationship commitment. And I'm enthusiastically embracing it.

I'm sharing this with the team now because this site has been a most amazing resource for both my later years of hobby successes and my safety. I especially wish to thank Jackson and A2 for making it happen and dealing with the crap that comes along with it (including some from me). It's kept us all informed and as safe as possible given we all have no choice but to be UTR ourselves. Thanks as well to my brother mongers for your PMs, advice, and rants. And for those of you just getting started on this board, my unsolicited advice is:

- NEVER reveal your real name to anyone.

- NEVER use anything other than a burner phone (app phone numbers suck and I'm still not convinced they're as UTR as anonymously cash-purchased burner phones IMHO).

- and NEVER lend a thing (cash or otherwise) that you'll ever expect returned.

With you 100%. Have only had one encounter in the past 3 months (tori). While it was a good visit, it just didn't do it for me.

I still read the forums regularly for the entertainment value, but I just can't pull the trigger anymore. Find myself concerned about heroin addictions, safety issues (robbed), and what not. The hardcore drugs have destroyed this hobby to what I see is a point of no return.

So many providers died this year alone. It kills my mojo too.

Generally Hotels and Motels in our type of areas that have adult entertainment are also the ones that providers will feel comfortable with. In other parts of the country its just a common thing. I think what OP was getting at is around here to ask that question was someone possibly asking where the providers might be. Maybe thinking LEO or something of that nature. Just my thinking anyways.

I've never hit up a buddy of mine and told him I'm coming to visit and want to look at porn when I get there. That would be uncomfortable. LOL.

I would want to take a lady from that area to a hotel that has porn to see if we can duplicate some of the activities. I guess I can see where someone might think it to be unusual but if I were a stranger visiting this area I would want to know where I might take a visiting lady or a new lady to watch some porn and get busy. One of my oldest buddies that knows about my hobbies, teases me with this question from time to time. I am certainly not bragging about this, but I suspect that my number could be pretty close to 200. If you factor in how long I have been doing this, (started probably around 1988, or '89) and the frequency I did it in my younger days, (at least once a month for a few years, but with slow times, and boom times figured in) However, there were times when I had a girlfriend and didn't play in the hobby, and there were times when I was unemployed, and couldn't afford to play, so I have put some thought into this.

Most of them were SW's, and I had become a regular of a few of them. Patty, (early 90's on M, and later 3) was a Puerto Rican blonde, with a lot of tats, was a favorite of mine. She pulled the freak out of me, by suggesting fetishes. Saw her for several years off and on. I sure miss her!

Then there was Eden, (mid to late 90's on 3) saw her the first time alone, then every time I seen her after that, she always brought a friend to play, never the same friend, though, and for double the donation. I always paid for the friend to play, sometimes it was a lot of fun, sometimes the friend didn't even touch me. Last time I seen her, I was fucking Eden, but wanted to pull out and fuck her friend, and she got pissed. She was a lot of fun, till I loaned her my truck for a night, and got it back two weeks later. Thank god one of my friends seen the truck at a motel in the area and called me, or I may not have gotten it back.

I started mongering around 2010 and I'd say my total is around 25-30. I've taken breaks here and there and I think that's fairly common. Most of it was just oral fun since I don't do well with blowing into a bag although I've had a few unexpected BBFS experiences tossed in there at random. I actually had two BBFS encounters with Little Phoenix that made me shoot my load pretty quick. I guess seeing her cute rear and those sugar walls sliding up and down my pole is sure fire way to erupt the nut butter volcano LOL.

But yeah I agree that mongering scores us older fellas a lot more action than going to a bar and trying pick up some high-mileage MILF. I haven't done that in over 15 years.
