You will notice the PD's main source of money for these stings / busts is human trafficking funding. I have great reservations about using human trafficking money for busting Johns. Did you see anyone arrested for human trafficking out of this? Guess how many? NONE! One hundred sixty people were arrested with NO charges for human trafficking!! Is there human trafficking going on? YES!! So why don't they go after those people?
This operation was done before the federal budget ended on midnight September 30. You have to spend all those federal dollars before October 1! Additionally, we are getting ready to enter the last quarter of 2023. Those monies must be spent! When the next budget comes around you must demonstrate there is a need for further funding.
