You can buy a burner with cash and pay cash for the monthly card for your minutes.

The VoIP app is a great idea. You have to be diligent about deleting it. Make sure you don't have any other phones or tablets linked to your main phone if you use the app. You don't want it downloading to those devices.

Always remember to go through your regular phone and turn off all the location services off. Once you turn them all off, look through your phone again. IPhones are sneaky and have the location based ads and significant locations inside. I crapped myself when I got the iPhone with that feature and saw it was automatically turned on. It showed a nice history of hotel visits off 23/270 and Polaris. Always turn off location services when you are doing anything and make sure you don't have your phone on a family or "find my friends" setting.

Get a Faraday Bag. You can get a decent one on Amazon for under $25. Put your main phone in it and your burner when you are doing anything you don't want to be caught doing.

Off the top of my head regarding burners.

Keep it off and in a Faraday Bag outside of your home.

Resist the urge to use it for anything other than setting up meetings and confirmation.

If you can, take the battery out of the damn thing when you aren't using it.

Go through and make sure every "notification" setting is off and the sound is off for every notification.

Have the volume off and muted for every setting possible. That's for texts, calls, and all apps. You don't want an unfamiliar ping / ring going off.

You can find cheaper Apple and Samsung burners that may look like your current phone. Pay a little extra to try to match your brand and case. It may not be exact, but chances are if you screw up and your s. O. Sees it, she may not even notice it. It will cost you more to do it, but it's less than the price of losing your marriage and reputation.

Download Kik, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tumbler on your burner. Register fake accounts with a fake e-mail and a disposable number (Google Voice or VoIP number). Do not use your real number or even your burner number. When you make fake social media accounts you can then go to "find contact" of your various lady friends and their actual social media pages. This, along with reverse image searching, can be very helpful.

Make sure all of those apps have everything turned off inside of them.

Know how to get the SIM card out of it quickly. If you get nailed with it, swallow the thing if you have to.

I'm probably forgetting some things, but that's a starter. I'm sure more will offer some thoughts of their own. If I'm off base on some things, please let me know. I'm always looking for ways to stay safe.

Consider a VoIP app like TextFree. You can use the minimum number of minutes, then delete and download again for a new number any time you want. If you don't like carrying two phones or receiving inbound calls, this is a cheap and easy solution. Have used it for years.

So don't be fooled, just because you are trying to justify something to yourself. Its all good. They get high, we get off. Be careful out there. Especially on the west side. Its not safe for those who are not street wise. Even then its not.

This is so true. I can't count the number of times that a second date was way better. As in above and beyond, after I've tipped, fed, and complimented a girl. We need to remember that though (generally) they have made the choice to be in the position they are in, it's still a rough way to go about a daily life sometimes. One time in particular stands out. Got a call from a semi-regular who needed fast cash. I'd been working all day, back was hurting, so I just drove to her and gave her what she needed, declining a date just then. I will be meeting up with someone I met online, she is not an escort. But I'm looking for a decent cheap hotel in the Grove City area or South Columbus.
