As WM stated: it is like a hobby within a hobby. You have a lot of pre-POT's and POT's but you cannot claim great success until you convert more than one to the FC. My experience is that it works like the sales pyramid. Lots of leads get you a few meetings which get you fewer real prospects which ultimately ends with a few or a handful of actual orders. You may have to work hours to get one to bed and you still only save a little over the local cost for an escort. The advantages are; 1) better, more normal looking women; 2) lots more time with the woman for the same amount of money; and, 3) better GFE pretense for the most part. Downside is the required time investment plus the risk of potential real attachment on either side leading to the associated exposure / stalking risk.

It is a lot of work and takes a lot of time, in my opinion. I have seen many familiar faces on SA as in escorts. There are plenty of scammers but no way of reporting them. Always remember, never send money to anyone that is the surest way to lose your money. I have had the biggest sob stories ever on there. You can get some good leads but you must ferret out all of the hood rats, psychos and drama queens. I met a lady on there and she was a real freak, a great lay and fun in the bedroom but she was batshit crazy. She was free as in no cost but man she was full on whacked. One lady wanted $200 just to meet for lunch, another wanted $5000 for a monthly allowance up front. Far too many want you to be an ATM and just give them money whenever they want something. The strangest thing for me though is the ladies from hundreds if not thousands of miles away that tell me they can make a long distance relationship work, skype I guess and cam shows. There are plenty from over seas and I like to waste their time as much as possible, it is a little like a hobby within the hobby for me. It works well for many guys but there are more uncertainties than where you can at least verify something about a lady. I would guess the vast majority are single mothers that need money and think that they can string a guy along without ever giving up anything until he dumps them in frustration then on to the next sucker.
