That's a scam for sure, they are trying to extort you. Don't fall for it and don't incriminate yourself.

Next time if happens again, say they have the wrong number and you just got a number that must be recycled. That's it. Don't extend the conversation and don't care for anything else they say. In fact block their number afterwards and keep mongering.

Some scammers will even send pictures of a police report. Again, it's a scam. Don't fall for it. As long as you really don't have anything to hide and you haven't done something incriminating with minors you have nothing to worry about.

SO, NEVER send dirty pics, dic pics, etc. Next always ask them their age, and when you meet before you touch, kiss, etc, ask to see their I'd. If you are chatting, and she says she will be 18 in a few days or whatever, STOP communications. If you follow these rules your good. If a scammer is making up a bunch of crap, asking for money, just delete and block them. Lastly I hope you are using a second number, text app, etc. And one more, never send photos that are on your real social media sites, google image will nail your face.

Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate it. I do use a texting app but that can probably be traced back to you if the police get a warrant for the text app company and get your IP address. I didn't do anything incriminating so no laws were broken. And, as I said before, I never send dirty pics, dick pics, etc. And that's never ever going to happen so I'm good there. She also told me that her daughter (probably fake daughter) sent me some dirty pictures. That never happened either so I definitely knew I was being scammed. I appreciate the info on social media pics too. Thanks again for the info.

I got a text from a number I didn't have in my phone. Could it have been a number I sent texts to in the past and then deleted? Maybe. Could it be someone texting me that got my number from SA? Maybe. So I send a one word text back thinking someone was messing with me. Then I get a text from a woman claiming I had been texting her 12 year old daughter and that a police report was going to be filed. She said her daughter and I had been texting back and forth off of the SA website and that my number was in her phone. I was also told I should have made sure the person I was texting from SA was of age before asking for things (not sure what things). As far as I know, you have to put in a birth date that confirms you are 18 to use the site. Anyhow, she said her husband would be very upset when he finds out and that I would be turned in to the police. I've been on SA in the past but don't remember the number or what may have been said so I'm thinking this is another scam, but I'm not sure. I don't recognize the number or know if I had ever even sent a text to that specific number. Long story short, she said had not told her husband and she wanted to clear things up. To clear things up she wanted money and she would not go to the police, not tell her husband, delete all texts, delete all pictures, and send me a video showing it had been done. She claimed I sent dirty pictures to the phone as well, but I know that is not true because I have never sent dirty pictures to anyone, ever. After I realized I may be being extorted by someone I texted from SA (possibly from a different number), I figured this is the latest scam to get guys to pay these girls without even having to meet. They may use a different phone number to claim you talked to, and dirty talked with, their underage daughter. Then you have to pay to keep them from going to the police. This experience made me nervous because anything to do with children is very serious and the laws reflect that. However, children do NOT interest me, and I didn't do anything illegal. However, it made me uneasy because I didn't have any information other than what I was being told. Has anyone else out there had any similar extortion scam attempts? And no, I did not pay the lady anything. Then she basically said she would have her husband go to the police with the information they have. One last attempt to extort. Any comments on similar situations are appreciated.
