All this will do is drive hordes of mongers to the sites. Most true SBs are going to take a measured approach and I'm some to feel you out and see if you are a creep. If someone is too anxious to meet or wants to talk $ on the I'm I would be careful. After a couple of IMs I try to steer it to text or email to discuss anything further.

I figure there is plenty of low hanging fruit for LE given the small-headed thinking of most guys.

I only front money if I know the girl very well and we have been seeing each other for a while. Even then, it is 50/50. I had a few so grateful they paid me back in spades. I've had others disappear after a 9 month arrangement, was part of their "exit" plan if guess. Moral of the story, don't front anything you aren't willing to lose.

Closely akin to this scam is the "can I have an extra $x this time? I really need it to pay my phone bill or you won't be able to contact me any more (or some such thing) BUT I'll make it up to you next time (freebie, extras, more time, etc). ".

Usually the requests that I get are just plain flat out requests for money once someone feels comfortable enough, its not even about a pretense of 'verification' or any such thing.

I clearly tell them 'end of conversation' I'm glad to be a FWB but not money for nothing, not what I'm hear for. Funny as soon as I do that some of them 'go-off on me' and I actually suspect some / many of them are guys posing as women just to scam horny stupid men thinking they're talking to a 20 yo college girl.

The SB path requires more work but the rewards can be much better. My experience is that you have to do a lot of work on the SB path to find that perfect situation. I have 2 that are those "gems" that are not on the active market and worth all the time it took to find them. I have 1 other that wants to start an arrangement, I just don't have the time for 3. None want their info shared, I honor that request as I don't want my info posted anywhere. My SBs are available whenever I want them, no demons, showered and dressed as I like them, and spend whatever time I want, 30 minutes or 3 hrs. They are even both very reasonable on what they want from me. The pro route, much less work, but dreaming with a girl that has seen 2, 3, 4 or more others that day before me and stares at the clock or is not a GFE is of little interest. I don't like supporting habits and most of the pros have demons they are feeding. Figure out how to tell the pros, fake ads, and the time wasters minimize your time there and focus on the rest. May take a 1-2 months to find that gem, but well worth it in my opinion. Also, if you opening line is "how much to BLANK you", you are wasting your money on the SB sites. Build a rapport, go from there. I also do not pay for M&Gs or ever provide any assistance prior to both sides being satisfied.

Personally, I've stopped the Pros, I am SB only now.

I have been mongering for so long I don't remember what its like to go on a real date lmao. However, after reading this thread for awhile, it sounds like most of the ladies on these sites are no better than pros's, they exhibit the same behavioral patterns and personalities, makes me wonder if they are not pros from another city that just haven't advertised on the pros websites. Has anybody had enough success to make joining these sites worth the cash? One site requested. 8 and I couldn't do it, all I could think of was for. 8 I can get guaranteed action with a pro! I read about the effort that yall put into meeting them, however, I know most mongers are going to keep the gems to themselves and not report on the open forum, to those that have had success: are they real, is it worth it, is dating or pros easier?

No I never do give anything in advance. But I thought perhaps this is a new trend starting, and being more accepted as a norm. I am glad to hear from all of you guys, that we're all on the same page still. This scamming shall pass eventually, as long as most of us don't fall for it.

Don't ever ever send money in advance. You won't see it again. I would not use cashapp, venmo, apple pay or any other method in advance. I avoid Western Union and Moneygram.

Keep your money to yourself until the girl gives you what you want first.
