No, I was responding to the idea that SBs with outrageous initial expectations don't come around once they find out what the market will support. That's my approach, what the market will support, not that she's lost her fucking mind. I wouldn't pay Mercedes prices to rent a used Chevy and I'm certainly not going to pay NYC model prices for trailer trash. But if you phrase your argument that way, you won't get a chance to negotiate.

For what it's worth, she quoted me $400 2-3 months ago after a couple weeks of effort. She actually has a pretty cool personality once you get past the BS. I didn't partake.

Maybe yes, maybe no. I've had more than one girl tell me "I've had guys pay me (500,1000, whatever)" and then I've talked these same ones into doing a dream for a much more reasonable donation. I'm more inclined to believe it's just a shit test with these girls. And if a dope really has thrown away that much money, I think most of these girls know it's more of a one-off thing.
