I reviewed a provider in Ocala and got very detailed questions from a new monger with 0 posts. His questions bothered me and when I looked more closely part of his email (how he wanted me to answer) name is that of our local popo chief. For some reason flags popped up and I haven't answered him. I would like to help the provider but not put any heat on her. So after a long explanation the question is how do you more experienced guys decide on who to answer or ignore. I got some help but, I didn't ask for any until I had a few posts and reviews. I tell everyone to go with their gut feelings, is that what you do?

In a way you had the answer to the question all along. It looked strange, felt strange, and your gut was screaming at you. Remember this, as this is your "spidey sense" talking to you. Better to miss a good time, than make hard time.

To cover the other part of the question, when I get a 0 poster with tons of questions I simply say "I am sorry but I must decline at this time. RTFF".

Why RTFF, because then they will know and understand everything they need to know about safety, contributing to the forum, and the fiction of it all.

If they have 0 , or very few posts with no reviews they get nothing. I explain politely that I don't know them and am not comfortable giving them the info they are looking for. I may say the provider is a nice person, but that is it. I only give details to trusted senior members.

An example of what to look for in a true hobbyist that's here for the correct purpose is Jmoebd. His post history speaks for itself. He follows no click, he sees who appeals to him not the new promoting girl that he wouldn't normally even see. He shares his info and has been a contributing member and in my book a review from him is gold because he has no alternative motive and he NEVER insults or barters for companionship. He's a good attribute to the board.
