That reminds me of a neighbor I had about 15 years ago. He came home one day with a new car and he let me take it out for a spin. It had this radio that was voice activated. If I said, "sports talk" it would switch to a sports talk station. If I said, "Country music", it switched to a Country station. As I was about to turn back into our subdivision some jerk cut me off almost forcing me into the ditch and I blurted out, "you dumb ass". The radio switched to Rush Limbaugh.

That was good for a chuckle. Knew it was going somewhere. LOL!

I have found that public education varies throughout the country, as does other things preceded by the word "public", such as public transportation.

I have been involved in an editorial role in what I will call "international correspondence", and I have found a wide variance in people's written word and / or their conversational speech. I have worked with uneducated folks who wrote very well, and with PhD's who couldn't put two words together correctly to save their lives.

But I think we also need to separate how someone may prepare official correspondence while at work, from how they might interact online. Many folks just have naturally fat fingers (or maybe fingernails that are too sharp) when using tiny keyboards on their phones, and for whatever reason don't take the time to READ what they have written before they SEND it. I think we ALL can fall victim to common mistakes as subject / verb tense and things like mistakenly interchanging "there" and "their" (as an example) from time to time.

I'm sure we would all be more careful, and provide more attention to detail, if we knew we were being graded or paid for our efforts.

Maybe its me but since Admin in their infinite wisdom chose to remove our private selection of tasty treats and pushed our private group of SP's to the new classified site something has changed.

I very seldom saw these girls as I generally find a better selection elsewhere but I enjoyed going there and seeing what's new and felt a little affinity to them being local and yes I even found the occasional gem there like Mel1 L.

Now its just like going to BP even looks the same.

Just wondered if anybody else noticed the difference.

There are obviously some differences in "format", but the ladies are responsible for "content" and that has not changed.

A2 already answered the reason for separating "our review site" from "their advertisement site". I for one, would hate to lose "our site" with all the reviews. THIS is the intelligence that brings us all here. I would really want "our site" to survive, even if we had to go to BP (or elsewhere) to find and date the ladies, we still have a common place for reviews and intelligence.

We should only be concerned about the "content" of their ads, which is dictated by the ladies, and I don't see that it has changed (except for photos). But the "format" should be of no concern to us. Sure, it may look different, and some folks are naturally resistant to ANY kind of change.

Regarding the photos, it appears they are now limited to a maximum of four. I don't see why that limit can't be easily increased for those who choose to post additional photos.

However the main problem I have with the new photos is that they don't open as large as they did before, plus you must open and close each one separately; there is no provision to go from one photo to the next (using a PREV or NEXT button).

So, for example, to view 4 photos, it now takes 8 mouse-clicks; OPEN, CLOSE (repeated 4 times). Before it took only 5 mouse-clicks; OPEN, NEXT, NEXT, NEXT, CLOSE.

Well, I attended public schools through high school and I consider myself to be relatively 'telligent. Of course, this was in a different state and a few decades ago.

Also, I did catch the grammar mistake in the ad that Admin2 cited, but I figured it couldn't be that. What with the general level of prose presented in these forums, I dismiss such niceties as soon as I log on. Hell! For that matter, the entire internet is a cesspool of misspelling, poor grammar, and feeble communication skills. LOL!

I agree. My "guess" is their ads look like they are automatically put up each day. Just guessing?? They even seem to be in the exact same order. Plus like it has already been said before, the pictures aren't as good as the previous version. Definitely seemed to have a more personal feeling before.
